I had the latest fit bit app 2.60 which gave me the mobile tracker. I accidentally unpaired the tracker and Now I can't find how it where to add the mobile tracker on my phone. The fitbit.com instructions does not correlate with what is on the app to get the mobile tracker. Does anyone know how to get the mobile tracker on the app

Hi there @JeffriesF, It is nice to have new faces in the Fitbit Community, welcome aboard newcomer. I was reading you are experiencing issues to enable the MobileTrack Feature.
First thing to do, is to make sure your phone is able to support this feature. Not all supported devices are capable to run this feature. For what I can understand from your post, you have used already this feature with your phone in the past before the update, so it will be matter just to reconnect MobileTrack again as a pair device.
- Tap the Account icon from your Android app- Choose the option for setting up a new device
- In the list of trackers you should be able to see MobileTrack (only if this is supported by your phone)
- Tap the option and follow the MobileTrack instructions.
If by doing this you are not able to see the option yet, try to reset the app by following my instructions in this post. Focus only in the part for clearing the cache of the app.
Hope this helps and let me know how it goes.

Hello Roberto. I have spoken to Fitbit support and this is a known issue with the latest version of the Fitbit app. I am also unable to see the MobileTrack feature. I have a Google Pixel XL running Android 8.0 Oreo. Please let us know when the Engineering team has found a solution to the problem.

My MobileTrack first showed up when I started a walk from the exorcise panel. (Stopwatch icon in the top right corner.) I am guessing that starting a run, walk, or hike from there will bring it back.
Hope this works and have a Terrific day!

Unfortunately that did not work for me but I did find out that Fitbit needed to gain permission to my location which it didn't before I did that, could be something.

I did everything you instructed to get my mobile tracker back and nothing. Based on a few comments, this is an issue. I would love to have the mobile tracker on my phone because I forget to put my fitbit on and carry my phone when I go for a walk
I hope there is a fix for all the fitbit users to have Mobile tracker on all phones.....it really help to get all the steps counted!

Yes, Location permission is needed for the app. There might be other permissions needed for MobileTrack. I don't remember.
My only other suggestion is one that I don't like. Uninstall and reinstall the app. That usually has the effect of loosing your settings. After reinstall and re-pairing your device, you will want to go through all of the app settings.
I also received the 2.60.1 update last night. That might fix your issue, but I doubt it.
I hope you get it working and have a terrific day!

Hey Goose thanks for the reply. Before my last reply I did update to 2.60.1 and did actually uninstall and reinstall the app to see if that would work. Still nothing showing up to select MobileTrack. Hopefully in a future update it will show up again.
