Not Showing Sleep Scores in the Fitbit app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

A few weeks ago a new area in the sleep log had an place for Sleep Scores. I found where to turn on this feature and have turned it on but for two weeks it shows the score category but never actually posts a score. Is there something I need to do for my scores to start posting?

I mean "the fix did not work" 😁 serves me right for posting before coffee!

I got two sleep scores randomly last week and then nothing. The reset didn't work and my app is updated.

Hey everyone,

Managed to fix my fitbit sleep score issues. Here is what I did.

  • Got to the sleep score tab
  • Press the wheel sign in the upper right corner next to the + sign and open sleep goal
  • Press the 3 dots in the upper right corner and remove one by one the following ( sleep goal, target bedtime, target wakeup time)

After this process plug in your fitbit and hold the side button for about 10 sec until you see a smiling face which indicates  that the device has been restarted.

Go back to the sleep goal and type in again your desired settings.

Your fitbit should deliver sleep scores again after this.

If you want to get the sleep score from the past days simply delete the day and add manually the hours by selecting the + sign and chose add sleep log.

All the best 🙂

One more thing I forgot to mention is to stop using the BEGin SLEEP NOW option.

Your fitbit will detect that automatically.

All the best 🙂

I've never used the app to say I'm going to sleep, and still my Versa 2 doesn't show my sleep hours or score. The sleep section is completely blank on my Fitbit Versa 2.

I just turned off "Receive Sleep Insights" and that seems to fix it somewhat. I can now see the total sleep hours on my watch. But I still can't see the sleep score...it says "No score"

@Lisamarie72 and @onthebanks,

The setting may now be called "Receive Sleep Insights". It's located in the Fitbit Phone app..

--> Click the Sleep category to get the Sleep page.

--> Then, click the gear/settings icon in the upper right corner on the Sleep page to get the Sleep Goals page.

--> The Sleep Insights field is currently located at the bottom of this Sleep Goals page ( I use an Android phone.)

--> Turning off Receive Sleep Insights worked for me.

@highlander18 and @Suchart Thank you!  Disabling "Receive Sleep Insights" located in the Fitbit Phone app worked for me too.

Hi

I turned off sleep insights and the sleep scores started to appear again.
I've just noticed that sleep insights are back on, I don't remember putting
them back on.

Probably won't keep this Versa for much longer though as the back button
doesn't work at all now, so there is very restricted use of the watch.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully everyone who has the problem will use your
fix.
Also, for including the type of phone you use. Almost everyone who posts in
this thread do not mention it.

Doesn't work with premium either. So, even paying for it doesn't help. I bought the Versa 2 last week. First two night I tracked my sleep I got a score but on the third night, zip. Without consistent data the sleep tracking feature is pretty much useless.

After disabling "Receive Sleep Insights" I was still having some issues with the sleep score showing up on my watch every day-- I had to sync it first to get it to appear.  So, I enabled the "All-Day Snyc" setting and that seems to makes the sleep score appear more consistently every day.  Both of these setting are on the Fitbit app on my Android phone.  And I'm actually starting to wonder if the "All-Day Snyc" setting is the primary factor behind this issue.

Hi

I've always had All day sync on, that wasn't the problem.

I have an Android phone.

Thank you.  I deleted the day with the wonky information and then added it again as you said.  Worked perfectly.  I ended up with the data and a score.

I just deleted the day which was actually broken into 2 pieces. Some how between 1:48 am and 2:56 did not record that I was sleeping. I entered the correct start and end sleep times and it did not produce a sleep score.

I've owned the Versa 2 for less than a week.

The sleep score was only calculated after the first night.

After reading this thread, I logged in & out of the app with no results.

Deleting the sleep log for which scores were absent and then manually re-entering the sleep & wake times retrieved the missing data & score.

I'll check to see if I have any new sleep data tomorrow when I wake.

It seems like this has been a problem for awhile & I'm surprised Fitbit hasn't resolved the issue yet.

The last 2 days I did not start sleep and wake up. Just let it happen and
then manually enter start and finish times. Worked twice in a
row.......stay tuned.

I have a Versa 2 and 3 days ago I went into My Dashboard on the Fitbit App
on my laptop and noticed that the Sleep Tracking setting was set to
Sensitive. Since I have a heart rate during sleep in the 50-55 range I
changed the setting to Normal and the next day I got my sleep score and
have been since.
Maybe this was the problem. You may want to try it.
