Not Showing Sleep Scores in the Fitbit app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

A few weeks ago a new area in the sleep log had an place for Sleep Scores. I found where to turn on this feature and have turned it on but for two weeks it shows the score category but never actually posts a score. Is there something I need to do for my scores to start posting?

<span;>Still no sleep data. I've now:
<span;>1. Removed my Versa 2 from my account & reinstalled it
<span;>2. Rebooted it several times
<span;>3. Deleted fitbit from my android device & reinstalled it
<span;>4. Tried higher above the wrist bone
<span;>5. When told to send it back to fitbit for a replacement  brought it back to Walmart & exchanged it for a new one 3 times. No sleep data on any of them.
<span;>6. This also happened to the Inspire HR & the Inspire 2 before them.

<span;>Given all of that I'm lead to believe that's it has to be their inability to sync with andro

Can’t comment fir Android but for my iPhone it has always been a case of too tight or too close to wrist bone. I’ve managed to get consistent sleep scores now only missing an few.
I feel it is a real weakness in the system but at this point until better tech is available it’s better than nothing

ColinFP - I have  Charge 4 with annual Premium - so this may only apply to my experiences with that device/option.  Also, I am not an expert, however, make sure you have the most up to date Fitbit app.  Might want to try removing current app on your phone and then reloading most up to date one available in APP Store. Also, if you have tried to edit your sleep log, make sure you are editing certain aspects of that particular day and not your set nightly sleep duration goals. Also, you may know that sometimes if you have less than an hour of sleep, the log data will not be recorded.  In addition, if you sleep for awhile, then get up for a while, and then go back to sleep, sometimes Fitbit records these as two sessions of sleeping instead of one - might have to do with how long you are awake between logs of any  given night.  Thank all I have - hope you solve your issue and please let me know how you solved you issue so we can share the knowledge !!

JAYVAP - Please see my post from 1-18-22 and follow through with those suggestions.  Also, allow the FitBit to keep the log automatically for you rather than using "Add Sleep Log" or "Begin Sleep Now" options.  The watchband need to be snugged, not too loose.  Also, make sure you have sleep goals set too.  Good luck...

The main procedure is to make sure your Fitbit is secure on your wrist, and when you get up in the morning, do not do anything but check your APP and wait for it to provide a log - you do not have to ask for one.  Hope this helps.

Hello, I am new to Fitbit luxe. I wear my Fitbit to sleep every night. Most nights it shows my sleep score. Today it does not and I have already tried syncing it with the app. When I woke up this morning my Fitbit was low on battery. Could that be why it did not register? Is there any correlation with that at all? I had 18% battery this morning.

In my experience, battery power - as long as you have some, is not the issue with no sleep score.  Every rare time, I do not get a score, but it may be the app data collection and posting by FitBIt or a loose band.  I do not have your version of the device, however, keeping the band somewhat snug will assure best readings and making sure you have the most up to date app are essential.

I fully charged, wore snugly last night and still no sleep score. What else can I do?

Do you press the  'Begin Sleep Now' on your phone?

I read that I have to press sleep mode on my Fitbit, not the phone?

My experience is not to press the sleep mode/log before going to bed - just wear it to bed and when you wake up, go to the app to get the score/data

Will try that. Thank you

Don't press anything. Just go to bed wearing the Fitbit. When you wake up sync the app on your phone. It will definitely work.

How did you get on?

It worked. But sleep score didn't appear until today. Guess it needs at least 2 nights for comparison. Thank you!

Don't use the 'Begin Sleep Now' function on your phone.

Don't do anything, just go to sleep and then sync your app in the morning.
It works
