Ok so I'm not sure what happened but both my wife and I cannot receive notification from text messages on our fitbit devices. I have run through every fix on this site and on other including youtube. Is there an issue the Latest Fitbit or Samsung update? It weird they both just quit working at the same time and it's the same problem.

I did start using the google text app and it works fine. So apparently it's the Samsung texting app incompatibility. I had to clear the cache on the app storage settings and then re-sync my fitbit after changing the notification settings to the new app. It works fine after that on both devices now. So if you need a fix, everyone download the google messaging app and it will get you going until fitbit and samsung work out the kinks. If your worried about losing messages, they should all carry over to new app as well, that's what happened on both my installs on two different S10 galaxy phones.

This might sound dumb but what is the Google text app? I searched for it and several came up. Thanks!

Never mind or thanks anyway. I dont want another app. I want Fitbit to fix the issue.

In the app store it will say message and have a blue symbol like your standard samsung message icon, it will say google llc underneath of it.
