My versa all of a sudden quit getting text messages

None of that works. I've talked to Fitbit and they say it's a bug in an update. Lol. I'm still getting calls, emails, etc... but no texts.

I also am not getting text messages. Calander Notifications and phone calls still come through, but not texts. This started a couple days ago.

I have the same problem. I have a Samsung S7 and all my notifications stopped on the evening of Sept 18. I have done everything that Support says to do - twice,  and still no fix. I have the most updated version of the app as well. Super frustrated. I now have a smart watch that isn't smart. Fix this fast Fitbit!!!!!

I am going to go look at the Garmen watches today. I am so frustrated with how unprofessional Fitbit is and how they could careless about their customers.

So frustrated.

Sucks u pay alot of money for these and they cant fix soon. I'm almost ready to switch to iPhone and get Apple watch. That's how desperate I'm getting

Check out the Garmen first! They are better than the iwatch. My husband has one and loves it.

I deleted the app off my phone, the followed the steps below and before the
last step I reinstalled the updated app that was released yesterday. I now
receive text notifications.


- Sync your watch and remove it from your account as well as on the
Bluetooth setting on your phone.
- Factory reset you Versa 2 following these steps:
- Note that you may need to reinstall any app after doing a factory
reset your device and we suggest to sync it first as any data on
it will be
lost.
1. Hold the back button for about eight seconds.
2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
3. Release the button briefly (for less than two seconds).
4. Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration,
which indicates they initiated the factory reset.
- Restart your phone
- Set up your Versa 2 as new device including the notification settings
as described in How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit
device?

Well, I uninstalledapp, re-added it, factory reset watch and wala. It actually worked. Holy Cow. I am now receiving my texts again. Customer service dont know what they are talking about. Just uninstall app, sign back in, hold bottom right and left button down for 15 seconds and hopefully it works for you too.

Lucky you! I am now doing this on daily basis and still getting nowhere. Linking is taking longer than usual (lol) and notification service is not running is all I keep getting. This plus "support" is ridiculous!! Xiaomi Mi 9,we are now on day 6 of NO NOTIFICATIONS.

Has there been a resolution to this? I am also having this issue. I am getting every single notification in my phone except text messages. I have tried everything under the help and troubleshooting section.

What worked for me was completely removing the Fitbit app from my phone
then a factory reset for my Versa. I then reinstalled the app and then my
Versa.
