I have a Pixel 4, thats the default. I'm not sure what that has to do with the Fitbit App continually stopping and crashing though.

I have the same problem on my Pixel 3XL. I use Google messages too. It's intermittent for me though.

I honestly dont think I should have to. I think it should work the way it always has. I have had Fitbit for 5 years and never had this issue. They say there fixing it but I'm losing faith. Had a update yesterday and didn't fix it.

Thank you so much for this response. I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 and a Versa 2 Fitbit watch and so far I am getting all messages with the Google Message app. I found that this does work as long as I make it my default message app on my phone but not on my Fitbit app. Still sad that we have to find the workarounds ourself and that Fitbit is not helping to fix this but it is what it is.

Though the Google Message app may be the solution, I have not downloaded it (yet). I could but would really like a fix to the Samsung Message app because that is the one I know and use. As a reminder, I have a Charge 3, Samsung S10+, Android 10 system.

I have the Galaxy Note 9 my Iconic is not receiving any text messages at all since the Android 10 update. I see there are people changing to the Google message for this to work. I don't believe I should have to change to a different message app to solve this problem. I hope you get a fix soon.
