My wife's Blaze has the same problem, but it does not appear to be a Fitbit issue. My Garmin product suffers the same problems (re enabled notifications while trying to test her issue). So (unsurprisingly) the issues were caused by a recent Samsung upgrade.

Ironically it appears to be a Samsung phone issue, not Fitbit's. My Garmin Vivosport has the same problem.

Welcome to the Community forums @Pixymama81 @EarleO, sorry for the late reply.
I've noticed that other users have experienced something similar with recent Samsung updates, however, if you already tried the troubleshooting steps suggested for notification problems, make sure that you've also tried to disable the notifications completely and they trying to set them up again following these steps.
keep me posted on the outcome.

I spent 40 mins on the phone with tech support today trying to get my notifications to work from my Samsung Galaxy S9+ to my Fitbit Blaze. Now all notifications work except text messages which to me are the most important. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Community forums @JSchar87.
Thank you for sharing that you've been having trouble with the notifications as well and that you already go in touch with the Customer Support team. There was a recent update for the Fitbit app, if you haven't done so already, I recommend you to update the app to the latest version available, then check if you continue to experience the same behavior.
Additionally, you can also try disabling the notifications completely and setting them up again.
Keep me posted.

I also have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ - I can't receive consistent notifications of any kinds. No texts (regardless of whether I set it to Hangouts, my standard texts or FB Messaging), no notifications from my calendar, literally nothing. Since I set it up 4 days ago, I've only received one notification from my calendar, one from Hangouts, and one from my text app. So at some point it was working, but I haven't changed anything. Fitbit app is updated. I've reset my Bluetooth, I've checked that I do not have DND on, literally everything I can think of. I really like the way the device looks, but between not being able to get any notifications and my bank not being supported in the pay feature, I'm losing hope that this will be a workable device for the price (I can just go back and use my Alta HR if all I'm getting is the traditional Fitbit information).

I have the Samsung 9 plus and I was receiving my text messages on my fit bit blase until Samsung 9 did an update... Now I no longer can get my text messages on my fit bit watch even though it says it's compatible with my Samsung 9 plus and I've tried everything.
