Is there a timeline or update as I can't connect at all. I've even tried connecting through my laptop as suggested. This is terrible annoying as I've been waiting for a fix since last November

Have tried many times to call Fitbit but wait times of 25 min or more have prevented me from acutallu talking to someone and starting the return process. I have done all the trouble shooting they suggested from the online chat with no success. My versa will not even hold a charge for a few hours. 😖

Welcome to the Forums @jayhawks66, and @MELANDSOPH. Hello @Gpesko.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience on the matter. Also thanks for trying the steps we recommended.
@jayhawks66, in your case I'd like to recommend that you try the steps listed in this help article. That should help so that the notifications start working properly.
@MELANDSOPH, let's try to restart the connection between your Fitbit and, in this case the computer, from scratch. To do so, please follow these steps:
- Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
- There, look for any Fitbit devices that show as paired.
- Remove all of them from the paired devices list.
- Restart your phone.
- Run the set up on your computer.
@Gpesko Our support team will be getting in touch with you about your Versa's battery. Since you have already gone through all of the troubleshooting steps they suggested via chat, be sure to let them know once they reach out and they will be more than happy to look towards other possibilities to resolve this situation.
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Fitbit to make my Zip able to pair with my Pixel 3. It would be helpful to
know what is being done to resolve the issue.
And, if it is an issue where Google has to put in a patch to fix a phone
issue with small Bluetooth devices, then let the community know, so we can
push on them. Use the community to help you.
By the way, an alternative fix is to let the user manually post their
steps. I only have this problem when I am away from my laptop computer,
which syncs fine.
Sincerely a frustrated user,
TeamanDave

I can understand your frustrations. The only thing that keeps me trying to sync with the Pixel 3 is my experience with my last androild and syncing with it. For a couple of years it didn't sync. Then, one day I was traveling and I noticed that the phone had gotten some sw patches. One of the things they said that the patches fixed was in Bluetooth connections with small devices. So, I tried to sync again, and it worked. Worked ever since.... unfortunately, now I have a new phone.

Hello @TeamanDave, @Pat99, and @sfringer. Welcome to the Forums @Barefoot444.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the situation.
@Barefoot444 The Pixel 3 is already part of the supported devices list.. You can click here to see the list.
The general syncing issues being experienced by some of our users with the Pixel 3 are related to Android 9 and a known issue with it. Our team is looking into it and we will be posting about it as soon as we have any details on the situation.
Thanks for your understanding. Please let me know if there are any other questions on the matter.

Dear @LanuzaFitbit ,
just for my understanding can you please clarify how Pixel 3 is in the supported list when it has, as you stated, problems of syncing with Android 9?
It is worthy to mention that Pixel 3 was shipped (almost one year ago) with Android 9 as original Android version and it was not upgraded at a later stage. My personal and humble opinion is that the Fitbit app was not developed/updated to fully support Android 9 as clear from the many topics written about this very same issue.
Also it is worthy to mention that in 3 month Pixel 3 will be updated to Android 10 (Q). Are any tests ongoing since the Android Q beta is available since few months?
Thanks for clarifying.

Hello @Giampi71.
Thanks for your question!
While the Pixel 3 did indeed come with Android 9, it is not the only phone that runs Android 9. Our team has identified that there is an issue with Android 9 that leads to syncing issues that it not related to the phone itself, but with the OS. To clarify my statement, the issue is not with Pixel 3 AND Android 9, it is only with Android 9.
As for any updates regarding Android Q, we do not have any information to share on the matter. We will be sure to let everyone know as soon as there are any news on the matter.
I hope this clarifies what I meant. Let me know if there are any other questions on the matter.

Dear @LanuzaFitbit, thanks for your reply.
In my humble opinion your assumption that the issue is on Android 9 and not on the lack of support of this specific device is just only an assumption since you obviously couldn't test the phone with any other OS version. I mean if you could downgrade the OS to, for example Android 8 and prove that it worked correctly, then you could be sure the issue is on Android 9.
For this specific case you can't separate the phone with the OS hence the phone shouldn't be declared as supported.
But the point then is: when Android 9 will be therefore supported? It's nearly one year it is has been released and more than one year since it was released in development preview (this phase is purposely done by Google so the 3rd parties like Fitbit can have time to update their apps)

@Rpk18 It seems a matter of be lucky as for some users it works, for some other it doesn't and Fitbit seems not caring too much. I guess if that the problem was on iPhone they would have set it up as first priority.
@LanuzaFitbit I remind you again that Pixel 3 was released last fall (9 months ago) while Android 9 is available in developer preview since last March 2018. And, guess what, next October Android 10 will be out.

they didn't say it DOESN'T work, just that it's not a supported device. some unsupporte/ untested devices work just fine, but they haven't tested it fully and determined it to be fully functioning. that's all they are saying with "it's and unsupported device"
