Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Fitbit Update 02/28/2017: As this issue was resolved with the release of the Fitbit app for Android, version 2.41 I will be closing this thread.

If you run into this issue in a new instance, please create a new post in the Android board and reference this thread. Thank you!

Fitbit Update 01/26/2017: We've just released the Fitbit app for Android, version 2.41 which includes a fix for the issue where the new Dashboard is not updating stats after sync.

Please update to the latest version of the app and let me know if the issue has been resolved for you. Looking forward to hearing your updates! Thanks for the continued patience.

Fitbit Update 11/21/2016: Some Android users who have opted-in to the new Android Dashboard redesign experience have reported that their Dashboard is not updating their steps and other stats after a successful sync.

Our Android team is aware of this issue with the preview and is currently investigating the root cause. In the meantime, I recommend logging into the Fitbit.com online Dashboard, completing a sync, and confirming that your step activity is updating in the activity log tab.

In addition, you can temporarily switch back to the old Dashboard to see instant updates. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "Account Tab" in the new Dashboard design.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom and select the "Advanced Settings" option.
  3. Click on "Switch back to the Dashboard" button at the top.

I will be sharing status updates here, so keep an eye out for more news.

@Kwlanning Can you please share a screenshot of the differences between the old Dashboard and the new Dashboard when completing a sync? Which Dashboard is not displaying updated information for you? All the screenshots that you can share will be helpful. Thank you in advance!

I have a charge 2. I have updated the android App to the latest version, logged out and back in again more than once. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone. I have tried both dashboards but it will still not sync. Last sync was thursday at 5.05pm GMT

Hi I have the latest version stated on here.  I do not have a option for going back to the old dashboard.   I can not sync either via the app or on the Website dashboard. It was perfectly fine until last night.  I have been using the new dashboard for a while and no problems. Very disappointed and tried everything suggested on the thread.  Please help 😢

So are so good after the updates. I removed the app completely, restarted
my phone, reinstalled the app and even restarted my phone again. So far
everything is syncing correctly.

My Charge 2 hasn't been able to sync with my fitbit app (Samsung Galaxy S6 edge) for over 24 hours now, since the last update was installed. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and that doesn't help things.

Also the Charge 2 battery has been draining since the last update as well.

Since updating the app (and to the new dashboard)  my Fitbit Charge HR (original) has not synced. The last time it synced was 26.01.2017.

Is anybody else having this issue?

I have noticed mine isn't holding charge like it use to but figured it may have just been me. I'll keep a closer look on this.

@MrsFordie I recommend restarting your Charge 2 and then attempting to sync again. Hope that helps.

@SunsetRunner I suggest restarting the tracker and then charging it for about an hour or two in order to get a full charge. Monitor it for the week and let me know if the quick battery drain continues.

@Rkbruner521 @Mscott08 Thank you so much for taking the time to download the latest version of the app and confirming that you're no longer experiencing any issues with the new Dashboard sync.

@Jimmiesmom05 I recommend confirming that you're on the latest version of the app, version 2.41 and comparing your syncing with the old and new preview Dashboard. If you see a discrepancy between the old and new Dashboards, please share a screenshot of both. Thanks in advance.

@Cakey @Mish_K @Nealley Have you tried the troubleshooting suggestions here? If so, are you getting stuck at any particular step in the process and/or receiving any specific error messages that you can screenshot and share? Thanks in advance.

Mine stopped tracking as soon as the update was installed today, even with the old dashboard.  I've tried all the troubleshooting tips I have seen on here, but it still isn't tracking.  I switched to the new dashboard in the hope that might work, but still no luck.

@Deebee1, did you restart your phone after the Fitbit app was updated? The phone normally gives you a message that the Fitbit app was updated and the phone needs to be restarted.  This allows it to load the corrected drivers for the app, which affects the syncing process.

After most recent update my Charge 2 does not sync and I've tried all the mentioned fixes and nothing. Not real pleased at this point since it worked fine up until this quote fix.
