Fitbit Update 06/15/18: This issue has been resolved with the release of the Fitbit app for Android, version 2.73. If you're still experiencing issues receiving notifications from the Message+ app, I recommend confirming that you're updated to the latest app release and following our notifications troubleshooting tips provided in this help article.
I am closing this thread as the issue has been resolved. If you begin to experience this issue again at a later time, please create another post in the Android Community Forum and reference this thread. Thank you for your continued patience as we worked to get this resolved.
Fitbit Update: 6/13/2018
New version 2.73 has been fully released to all our Android users and you should be able to update your Fitbit app. We have released a fix for Message+ and Signal App notifications.

Hi, everyone!
I noticed many of you reporting that you no longer receive your Message+ notifications to your Versa/Ionic after the Fitbit OS 2.1 update.
We've escalated this issue to our team for investigation. For the meantime, I recommend using the default texting app on your Android device or any other messaging apps.
When I have more information, I'll provide that here. Thank you!

Me too. Pixel 2xl is getting WhatsApp, email, all other desired notifications except for Signal. Is there a fix?
Update:
Perhaps I've missed this but I am still unable to get notifications from the Signal messaging app. Everything else seems to be working fine. I've done all the troubleshooting I have read about!
Thanks.

Best AnswerWhen the update came available my text notifications stopped working. Linked to my Motorola Droid Turbo 2 using Message+. I only use notifications for Texts and Phone Calls. The call notification works and if I change my text app to Messages. I would rather use Message+, as that is the one I like.
Vibration stopped working today. All notifications, alarms, Get Moving, and Timers are not vibrating. I have shut down the Versa and restarted..... Still no vibration. Could it be related to the Update or low battery?
Best Answerwaited for the update to firmware for 3 weeks still nothing ,now I don't have the right android version for my phone, 300$$$$$!!!!!!!!! fitbit and they cant get what they advertise to work!!!!!!!!!!
VERY Disappointed!
Absolutely agree. Beyond upsetting. Not sure what is going on, because my Versa worked so well at first . Forced update. Then nothing. The company message is be patient. Not a good answer.
Vibration stopped working for notifications for me, yesterday. Also can no longer get notifications for phone calls. I so regret buying this so-called smartwatch.
Best AnswerJust successfully downloaded new firmware update .20 this afternoon. Sadly, it fixes nothing . Verizon Message + text notifications still don't work (they worked fine prior to the .15 update). The on-watch reply feature that .15 was supposed to deliver doesn't work either. Continue to get a "reply failed " notification on the Ionic if I tap a Gmail notification. Not sure how they managed to fail to correct a problem that their firmware created in the first place . May need to opt out of future updates in fear that at this rate the watch will soon be rendered unusable.
Android application was updated this morning to version 2.73 on my phone and now, I'm properly receiving notifications from Signal application.
I'm still using firmware 32.32.10.15 on my Versa (.20 not available for me yet).
