Fitbit Update 03/31/2016, 12:13 PM: Our team is still working on getting this issue resolved. The fix will be included in an app update that should be coming soon. Once I can confirm which release you will be seeing the fix in, I will make sure to share the update with you all here.
Thanks for your continued patience and to everyone who has reported the issue and made me aware about it. Looking forward to sharing a new update with you all when I hear more.
Fitbit Update 02/03/2016, 01:25 PM: We're aware of an issue where exercise sharing on Android crops out the activity statistics when attempting to share.
The expected behavior is that you're able to share a picture along with activity statistics as seen below on the left. Instead of the image with statistics, you're sharing an image like on the right with no stats.
Our engineers are currently looking into the root cause of this and will be providing me with an update. Once I hear that update, I will make sure to make you all aware.
Thanks to everyone who has reported this. Looking forward to sharing updates soon!

I haven't shared my exercise in a while on fb so I thought I'd do again today, but the app only seems to allow me to take a picture and then only posts the pic, but not exercise stats. Is anyone else having this issue?

@ErickFitbit, I am up to date, but still it's only posting the picture.

Same thing here. Latest app version. The photo overlay is shown until you actually hit the share button, at which point some other app (facebook, twitter, google photos, whatever) takes over and the overlay is then gone from picture.
The photo is also saved by fitbit on the phone without the overlay; not sure if that's the intended behavior or not, since yesterday was the first time I ever tried sharing an exercise.

@Skyerules@ricmadeira Thanks for the reports. I am forwarding your experience to our Product Specialist Team who will be looking into the issue as it should overlay your exercise statistics over the image as shown below. Once I hear an update from them I will make sure to provide you all with an update.
Thanks again for making me aware of this.
