Anyone else had this problem / know a solution? When I search for pairable devices on my Galaxy S7, my FitBit Charge is not found. I did a restart of both the phone and the Charge with no success. Any suggestions? 🙂 Thanks!!

Welcome to the Community @bugonwndshld. Samsung Galaxy S7 is not a compatible phone. Our team still testing the compatibility of it. In the meantime, I recommend syncing your tracker with a computer or a Compatible Mobile Device.

Has the compatibility issue been fixed yet to the galaxy 7 edge?

I bought the Samsung Galaxy S7 (not Edge) and FitBit Charge HR at the same time, and then I acquired the FitBit Aria. No problems with syncing or using the devices, even though the S7 is still not listed on the compatible devices page. The devices show up as pairable and I synced them through my computer and use my phone app to check stats throughout the day.

The only question I had (which brought me to this thread) is about compatibility with displaying caller ID. I figured out how to enable Notification Settings by click Devices > Charge HR > General - Call Notifications and Allowing several permissions. From my experience, the phone has been very compatible.

Just wondering if the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge compatibility has been sorted yet as I am upgrading to it soon. I love being able to be part of challenges which we can't do from the website only the app. Is there an ETA on how long (if it hasn't be resolved) it will be???

Use your computer. My galaxy 7 edge is working fine. My charger is fine and everything is being recorded. The customer support helped me immeasurably. It still does not have compatibility yet.

I have the Samsung s7, syncing seems to work well with my charge HR, the only thing I can't seem to do is rematch a challenge.  I can only join when someone else has set up the challenge.

Mine was working now it's not. I had to do a network wipe under backup and restart to just find it again and try to pair. I get stuck on entering the code.

I upgraded to the S7 when it came out. I just purchased my first Fitbit (Blaze), thinking the S7 would definitely be compatible seeing how popular the Galaxies are and the Blaze being so new. Now I find out that it is not compatible. I really hippie this gets fixed fast or I will unfortunately have to return it and get a different brand tracker.

Try to set up your computer. I have windows 10, so I had to download fitbit
app from the Microsoft store. My fitbit is working fine now. Their customer
service helped me a great deal. My phone is still not a compatible device
yet, but they are working on it.

Do we have an update on when Fitbit will support this phone?

Hi, I bought a fitbit surge 2 days ago. As a galaxy s7edge owner I was concerned about the compatibility issues but a few day ago i got a update to android 6.0.1 and surprisely enough i could sync my surge to my phone without troubles. It works fine! Btw i have a exynos processor on my s7 edge (european variant). Dont know if this could matter

Synching my Fitbit Flex with my Samsung Galaxy S7 was working up to 2:32 am on Monday, 5/23. There were no updates and my firmware is up to date prior to it not synching. I also tried resetting the Fitbit a few times. I'm really confused as to why it stopped working all of a sudden. I guess we'll have to wait until it's officially qualified. I'm surprised it's not considering it came out in February. Smiley Frustrated

Hi honeybeevegan, my phone wouldn't sync a few days ago either so I switched the phone off & on & it synced properly after that.

Notifications aren't working on mine either. I just realised when I was in a store & they were trying to figure out why another one wasn't getting the notifications.

I just restarted both the fit bit and my phone and was able to get my FitBit Charge HR to connect successfully to my Galaxy S7 Edge. Just had to restart both to make it work!!! SO HAPPY! I hope this helps someone!

Hello all. I had posted before that I actually have 2 S7's and 2 charge HR's. My wifes and mine. I have been having the same issues as you all, and she has had 0 issues since receving her S7. So this frustrated me as that means it does work. Mine was spotty at best, and has not connected (nor could I get it to, via app or computer).

I have found something that did work, and it is now working perfectly, not sure if it may help anyone else but I will put it out there.

1. I turned off the fitbit charge HR

2. Removed the charge HR from my account

3. Used app to set up a new device

4. Powered on the fitbit charge HR per app instructions
