Hey, @MNorman! Thanks for joining the family!
Hmmm...make sure your old phone is not close by while you sync, because this could be interfering. If you still have it, it is better if you remove your tracker from the Bluetooth settings and set it to the new one. To do this follow these steps:
Tell your mobile device to "forget" your tracker:
Then please:
This should get you back on track, let me know how it goes! ![]()
Thank you. My phone is nowhere near me. I traded it in so it was factory reset and left at the store. When i try to pair it on my bluetooth it says "pairing rejected by device"
Best AnswerI am having the same exact problem. Idk how to get it to work. I never had any issue with my last Samsung phone. Just got a new s8 active and it won't pair.
I tried the steps above and it is still not working. Are there any updates to fixing this issue?
Best AnswerBuy an S3 😞 Same problem here... I need to use an HTC U11 just because S8 Active it's not working with Fitbit. And **ahem**, I have an S3 but I like my dumb Fitbit 🙂
Best AnswerI just spoke with Fitbit Customer service just now and they said that Samsung models Galaxy S8, S8+, and S8 active (which I have) are not yet compatible with Fitbit app! I am not getting any email, text or call notifications on my Fitbit Blaze, but its syncing my info on steps etc from the watch to the app. This sucks!!! I hope the developers work on this ASAP! They said the only thing I can do is friggin wait for a Fitbit app update. Until then, I can't link notifications from my phone to my Blaze watch. =( If they dont resolve this fast, Ill ask for a refund!
