Me too. I have been dealing with this since last summer and I am beyond fed up with tech support on this. I am researching different trackers - done with Fitbit.

If you end up here because you couldn't sync anymore....uninstall the app and do a fresh install. Apparently the "update" changed something, maybe with the permissions. I thought I had everything enabled, but when I re-installed the app it asked me to turn on location permissions. Interested to see if I get sleep data back again after the re-install. Too bad I had to wipe my data off my fitbit and uninstall and reinstall everything. You think fitibit could send out emails when it updates, or notifications on the app that it was updated, then we'd know to check the app when we have trouble.  Can we remove permission to auto update?

Still doesn’t work.  I’m done with this piece of tin.  It’s been months that I’ve had to wait till I get home to sync with my iPad to see how my day was in relation to my weight loss app that interacts with Fitbit.  This should be syncing on my phone and it won’t!  Worked for 4 months and then nothing.  My phone syncs with everything else...can’t even find the versa now that I uninstalled the app to try again like it was suggested!  I’m going Samsung watch.  Maybe then I’ll get what I need out of a fitness watch.  I’m sad because I truly love the wa6 it looks and worked until August  2018.

Agreed! This is EXACTLY what I've been dealing with since last summer! I have gotten nothing but the runaround from the Fitbit folks for 6 months. I am done with Fitbit and am looking for a new tracker. This is nothing but a $200 pedometer. Please post any info you come across re Samsung or Garmin trackers if you find a good one. Thanks for sharing your notes re your Fitbit problems. This has been the mist frustrating experience, nit to mention waste of money. Fitbit should do the right thing and replace these useless trackers.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy Tablet

When will the Galaxy Samsung Note 9 work with the fit bit charge 3?  Or will it work with the 10 when it comes out?  I am trying to purchase a new phone and really am leaning towards the note 9, but it isn't listed as compatible with the fit bit charge 3.

Welcome to the Forums @Scoobypsp321  and @Brandiwads.

Thanks for sharing your details on the matter and trying the steps that have been recommended.

@Scoobypsp321, the Note 9 should be able to work with our devices. You can click here to see the current list of supported devices.

@Brandiwads What phone is it that you are using? Also, do you get some error message on your phone?

Look forward to your reply.

I currently have an LG G5.  It worked originally, but when the update came through in january, it stopped syncing.  Tried restarting it and nothing.  Actually made it 10 minutes behind.  Finally got it synced to my lap top, but of course it doesn't give me my phone messages, etc.
I am trying to decide between the Galaxy note9 and the new S10+ when it rolls out in a couple weeks.  Is the Charge 3 ready to work with the Galaxy S10+?

Hello @Scoobypsp321@Brandiwads and @KRPE.

@Scoobypsp321, as it shows in the link I shared above, the Note 9 is a supported device but the S10 is not at this time.

@Brandiwads Are you referring to the battery on the Zip or the phone?

@KRPE I could see that you were in touch with our team and they suggested some steps. If the issue has continued since you got in touch with them I'd recommend letting them know through a reply so that they can further look into the situation.

Hello @Brandiwads.

Thanks for that clarification and explaining the steps you follow to get it to sync.

In this case I'd recommend that you try to set up your Zip as if it was a replacement. That should help improve the overall connectivity and prevent this from happening again.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
