Welcome to the Forums @Lilybet48.

Thanks for trying to turn the Bluetooth off and then on again.

In this case I'd like to recommend that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article. They should definitely help in getting it all to work correctly.

I have had the same issue with my new zip immediately after the update to my Samsung Galaxy S9plus. After chatting with tech service several times last week, they sent me a replacement Zip since mine was only a month old. I just recieved the replacement and it's doing the same thing. The only way to sync it is to remove the battery for 10 seconds. I'm assuming that Fitbit needs to come up with a software update to fix the issue.

Is still not working.

It says on the Fitbit website that the Samsung Galaxy S9 is compatible with my Fitbit. There is obviously some sort of software issue with the Fitbit when will this be fixed.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Welcome to the Forums @Lavery51. Hello @Brandiwads and @Sniles.

Thanks for letting me know about this. @Lavery51 Thanks for sharing the steps you tried to get it to sync.

I'd like to mention that if your S9 is running Android 9 then it is possible that the issue is related to Android 9 and not the phone or the Fitbit itself. You can read more about it in here.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

I don't believe that is the case. I have had a Fitbit one for 4 years. I
recently switched to the Zip and it synced fine until the Samsung Update.
After the update the only way to make it sync is to remove the battery. I
recieved a replacement Zip and it does the same thing. So the problem seems
to be with Fitbits software not working with Samsungs update.

Thank you. I think that is the problem. I have also been taking out the
battery to get it to sync. Sounds like Fitbit problem.

I have consistently been having inconsistent syncing issues with my Versa since I purchased it 6 months ago. I have the latest updates on both Samsung and Fitbit, but after 1 day of good syncing, I have to reset the bluetooth,  then the app, then my watch, then finally my phone to get it to sync for another day. Is thers a more simple solution for my versa to sync?
