Well, this morning, I checked for fun if my app would connect to my watch. Unlike yesterday, it worked!?!

I just checked out 2 minutes ago if my Fitbit still syncs and yes, it does.... For now...

It seems that my watch had an update this morning while I was trying to connect it with the Fitbit app on my phone.

I don't understand what happened, but the important, is that it works now... Let's hope that it will still work in the next days!

@LizzyFitbit , please check out this problem so you can give good advice to people who still have the problem. I hope that this kind of problem will not occur frequently...

Looks like i have joined the club

Tablet upgrades to 3.37 syncing and pairing stops immediately

Phone on 3.36 continues to sync

I have disabled auto app updates on phone

Just to make it interesting - I am using a Sense. It seems bigger than a Charge 4 issue

Fitbit 2 not syncing to my phone

My app updated last night and my Charge 4 hasn't been able to sync since.  Now the bluetooth on my phone won't even detect it.  Something in the app really got messed up.  At least now I know not to bother with it anymore until it is fixed.

Of course still having this problem. Contacted customer service, blamed it on my phone as usual, which worked perfect until the new update. I know its the connectivity to the Charge 4 because my old Alta synced just fine. It will find my Charge 4, but won't go past that. I'm so sick of having consistent problems with Fitbit, and whats sad is they don't even listen. They just have you troubleshoot their BS steps that obviously everyone has tried and haven't worked. I cleared my data on the watch because they told me to reset everything, and now I can't use it at all.

My versa 3 also quit and will not link up with my phone after this update. Everything is on the latest version but it won't pair or sync with. Y android phone on version 9.0

I contacted customer service regarding my malfunctioning Charge 4 (it just smiles at me annoyingly and won't connect to blue tooth). Cymon did a great job running me through everything I have already tried to do to fix the problem, but couldn't fix it. He told me I would receive an email telling me where to send a bug report from my phone but I received no such email. Soooo where do I send this bug report?

How did you get hold of someone at Fitbit - chat room, phone, email?  I used the chat function and I haven't had any success at getting anyone to agree to anything??

100% agree. My Charge 4 is a brick straight from the box. "Setting" app on device doesn't work. Phone can't find it. When they find it, can't sync.

Piece of #$%^@.

Won't ever made same mistake. FitBit software / firmware is the worst I have ever seen / experienced.

Does Fitbit have a customer service phone number to talk to someone directly?

Me too. Was fine this morning, stopped sometime midmorning and can't get it to sync even after deleted and readding Versa to app.

Same issue here at the moment.

I just posted this on another related thread, but I'll repost here because I think it can help you out:

When the Fitbit App on my Samsung phone updated this morning to ver 3.37 my Versa 2 stopped syncing.  No combination of resets, reboots (of phone or tracker), cache clearing or whatnot would fix the problem.  A quick scan of the reviews posted on the Google Play Store for this update in the last few hours/days makes it pretty CLEAR that the app update is the issue (update happened -> trackers won't sync).  Based on my experience a couple of years ago when the EXACT same thing happened (app update to ver 2.64) and we had to wait several MONTHS  for the issue to be fixed, I uninstalled ver 3.37, installed the last working version (3.26.1 from Dec 2020), and turned off auto-update in the Google Play Store so that it doesn't get broken again before I can even get my sneakers tied.  With ver 3.26.1 my tracker is syncing again.

Did the time change, too? My fit bit is now 1 1/2 hours behind and won't sync

Try these steps @Lilac148

And you are right in that the phones Bluetooth should not able to connect and might not even find. This can not be done,

Hi Tammy, thanks for this is it really encouraging. One question how do we go back to the old software -  unfortunately,  I'm a bit of a technophobe!
