Updated the firmware and the watch stopped synching. I did a factory re-set and re-installed the app on my phone, and followed EVERY SINGLE suggestion in the "help article" and my watch still won't synch with my phone. When I "add the new device" it has "found it" but then stays on "connecting.." forever.
Before the update the watch and app worked together flawlessly! Now what?!?!

I bought mine as soon as it came out. It has never displayed the sleepscore on my device, only in the app. Now the app won't work. Very much money for a poorly functioning device 😞

Good morning Kate. I have both Versa 2 (husbands) and an Inspire HR. Versa 2 has now unpaired itself again. When it was paired it would not sync to update his data from yesterday. He tried all the advice given to no avail. Does this mean he loses all this data?
My Inspire HR is working but only after taking hours to pair and sync. I am hoping that this one does not go the way of the Versa 2!
We have only had the Versa since November and the Inspire since December. This has only happened been since the update. If not sorted are you going to replace with Fitbit watches that work as we were happy with them before this?

After the last firmware update this week, I can no longer receive notifications in my Versa. Constant error "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notification on your tracker". I've already restart the phone, no luck. I've tried cleaning Fitbit app cache and data only to find out that it fixes the issue for a couple of minutes and then the issue returns.

Snap! My Versa 2 is doing exactly the same. Android 9. No sync. Tried everything. Been here so many times before.
As a bonus, my battery life which was about 5 days before the firmware update is now just over 24 hours.
To be honest, I'm about to pull the plug on my life with Fitbit (many years too). I've had enough.
The heart rate has NEVER been very accurate during exercise. I have a Garmin dual HRM strap for use on my bike and the difference in readings is huge. I know what my heart is doing and so does the Garmin - Fitbit has always been too low.

I have just downloaded Fitbit app v 3.37.1, thinking that it would solve the syncing issues. Unfortunately, the latest patch is not effective and I am still unable to connect my android phone with versa 3....

Hi
I've installed 3.37.1 and all seems good, even synced all the unsynced data.
Thanks to everyone for the fix.
Cheers
Alan

The only version I can see is 3.37 @Gillianince60 which was released on 20 January. Where did you find the 3.7.1 version? Thanks

TRY THE FOLLOWING PROTOCOL (I use a Sense, you may use another device):
- IMPORTANT: Open the App on your Android phone, tap on your avatar on the top left, if Sense is listed as a paired device, tip on it and delete it.
- On any other device than your Android phone:
- Open the Fitbit app and force a sync.
- Open the Bluetooth settings > tap on "forget this device".
- DO TURN the device OFF. [Seems FB App has frequent problems managing two different devices when setting up.]
- On your Android Phone (Galaxy A10)
- Turn off the Bluetooth
- Uninstall the App
- RESTART (factory reset should not be necessary) the Sense
- Reset the phones network settings (Wi-Fi and Mobile data) [THIS IS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT STEP]:
- Switch on the smartphone by pressing the Power key for a few seconds.
- From the home screen choose Settings.
- In the next step select General management.
- Now you should tap Reset and Reset Network Settings.
- Restart the phone
- Set up the Wi-Fi on the phone
- Turn on the Bluetooth on the phone
- Install the App
- Open the App and set up the Sense
- Finish
