Same issue with Moto G5S+, versa 2 has been solid as a rock for months but now this. I've spent the last few days following advice and forums to remove, reset, restart etc. Each time I can get my versa 2 to sync once IF I select Versa. If I choose Versa2 it fails to pair. After pairing it syncs once and then stops again. I see a Moto notification pop up every 10 seconds or so saying "Updating Bluetooth Context" which I assume it's related. It is very frustrating that it has taken a week to put this notice out, I've read nearly every sync issue thread on the internet this week. Please get this fixed and do not hide behind the compatible device list; my phone and Fitbit have been harmonious for months until this update. If the hardware is 'incompatible' I know which I'll be changing.

Fitbit, do enjoy creating pointless updates and screwing up their working equipment, and when they do the fix time isn't quick, i've experienced and read about these occurrences too many times in the last 4 years. If this is solved before Feb i'll be surprised.

Why when you know there's a problem

Glad you are aware of the problems but so frustrated that these problems happen every time there's an update!! I didn't realise the extent of other people having the same problem so matter what Fitbit they have and no matter what phone they use!!!! I can see I am not alone!! Why do you do so many updates that continue to mess everything up!! This has been getting worse over the last couple of years. My Fitbit has stopped working twice this month!

That's worrying then if that's the case because it can't be updated again with a fix if it won't sync can it?

I have gone through all sorts of fixes and have deleted my sense and it will not let me reinstall! What next?

Just been on the other link and can see 300+ people have complained about the same problem , so those are just the ones that highlight this issue , Think the people that are on chat need to acknowledge there is an issue and are looking into this rather than the standard.. its an unsupported device get a new phone

I also uninstalled 3.37 and installed 3.26.1. Got 3.26.1 from "up to down dot com"
I can confirm it works and i can now sync.

I uninstalled the app from my phone
Then I downloaded the 3.26.1 file from "up to down dot com"
Then i installed app version 3.26.1 and it worked and I could sync.
IT WORKED FOR ME. TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK

Do you have any idea to when this could possibly be fixed? Cuz I use my Fitbit to also track my sleep and I cant which is annoying

This is my first Fitbit - a Charge 4. I got it as a Christmas present. Tried to set it up today and can honestly say, I've never had a more frustrating set-up experience. Nothing Syncs, none of the Apps work, I can't even customise the Clock face as I keep getting an error message to update the app and device - but everything is up to date. There is no support available. I basically have an expensive wristband that just tells the time. What a joke!?

I was asked if the Fitbit functioned normally after installing v. 3.25 of the Android app. It is hard to say, because I had been using an Ionic, which bricked at the hard reset (it was working fine up until then, thank you Fitbit), and I bought the Charge 4 as a replacement. I do not have a baseline for the Charge 4. I can say that the major features seem to work fine. HRM, calories, steps, sleep are all fine. Notifications seem to work. Interestingly, I cannot change the clock face, the Calender and Weather apps say they have to sync even after having synced, and the Settings app simply delivers a blank screen. I thought these might have to do with the older app, but then I saw some blog posts saying that others have had this problem with the Charge 4. It seems to require a firmware update, which happens after syncing for a few days, so I cannot yet say. If I believe the blogs, these bugs should not come from the older version of the Android app. By the way, once the Charge 4 was set up, it could sync to a Windows 10 app, which, however, doesn't have all of the functions of the Android app.

I have just tried that with no luck sadly. It won't let me install my Sense without updating the app.
