I have been trying everything that is suggested but not had any luck with it.
I am waiting on support getting back to me,
Good luck!
Best Answer@ash8410 if your computer has bluetooth and you download the app from google play store (i think that's what it is called) you should be able to sync your phone that way. That's how I was able to transfer the data.
My fitbit won't Sync as well with my Android phone , tried everything rebooting reinstalling apps , going back to factory resets on my phone . It worked perfectly till the software update , just been on chat with fitbit who basic message was , its an unsupported device , if you want it to work , get another phone . Really frustrating as issue has been caused by Fitbit update
Exactly the same here. Purchased Versa 2 on Jan 17, 2021. Worked great until Jan. 26.
I uninstalled the Fitbit app, carried out updates, reinstalled, restarted the watch etc.
Nothing works.
It simply will not sync.
No one at fitbit did the homework prior to sending the andriod update out to the world.
Good news,i have downloaded and installed the old version (3.36) using information in your link and the Sync between Phone and Charge 4 worked first time and has updated the Fitbit App with all my missing data.
I think this is conclusive proof that the new version of Fitbit App has caused all the connectivity issues Charge 4 users are having and hopefully Fitbit will apply a fix urgently and update their customers.
Many Thanks for your help JMVarner..
Regards....Scotty
I am having the exact same issue. I even tried resetting the versa 2 to the factory settings and starting over. Nada. This is extremely frustrating. I had the versa since 2019, no issues. I got the versa 2 for Christmas and yesterday it decided it was not going to sync at all w my android. The live chat was no help, I was told my phone is not compatible and I can suggest that they work to add my phone to the compatible list. But there was no explanation as to why it has worked fine until yesterday. Really disappointed in the customer service from fit bit and am actually considering returning the versa 2. I would rather go without.
Had exactly the same issue. Spent all of Saturday on chat with technical team. Kept saying it has to be with the update but they denied it and said it was my phone. So annoying!!!!
Time to fix the update is understandable. I think a lot people are frustrated because they were told by support when they called to just get a new phone or non-Android device to connect to. Probably some inexperienced service reps, but still not a helpful or compassionate way to go about it. Lots of people tend to trust a specific brand like Android people stick with Android products and might not have an Apple device around to sync.
I have been working on this issue for over 5 hours and still no resolution. Fit bit Charge will NOT sync at all and I have tried everything...every step carefully followed in these posts, in U tubes. Feeling so frustrated. Will try new phone and see what happens.
Best AnswerSame with me. A rep. told me to go buy a new phone. Wrote to fitbit and said thank you for the $150. pedometer. This is VERY sad.
Same exact issue here. It's like it doesn't exist in the app...
Any update on this? My watch is basically a brick, since the app won't recognize it.
Mine last synced at 1 am Ive followed all the steps in the trouble shooting advice.
Ive deleted the device from my account and not it wont reconnect.
Tried all the recommendations. To no avail. Chatted with 1 rep who hung up on me, then next 1 said I needed to get a new phone. Well charge 4 worked just up it Tuesday. Now I'm STUCK with a very expensive pedometer SAD
