I want to see how many of us are in this community. They can't lie to us all about this in a single thread of people still having this same issue.
At this point it's ridiculous.
Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity.

Going on day 2 running v3.3 on my Pixel with no sync problems. So I feel this definitely has solved it in my case.
V3.4 is not out on the play store for my device yet, so that is not an option for me.
I have received notification from the moderators that the post giving instructions on how to downgrade has been removed for "advertising a site where is promoted non official versions of the Fitbit app". So all I can say is if you choose to downgrade your software, make sure you are downloading it from a trusted site.
Apparently fitbit has incredible PR people because they managed to spin hundreds of complaints across several devices into a teeny little isolated problem on the Charge 2. What a bunch of BS.
I recommend that everyone who is having an issue go onto the msn or cbc twitter & facebook feeds and clue them in as to what's really going on. Sadly the only way to get any kind of corporate fix nowadays is to publically call out the company. The squeaky wheel gets the grease!
Version 3.4 on the way?
Another thread from alyssafitibit says...
"At this moment, we've started the release of the latest app version 3.4. It is not out to everyone yet, but when it is my community post will be updated with this information. Rest assured, you will have it soon!
If you had any issues with the last update: version 3.3.1, please wait to update to 3.4 to see if your issues are resolved. Thanks for everyone's cooperation. "
We shall see, we shall see what happens and when. I hope 3.4 does the trick. Weird that fitbit did not acknowledge the issues up front. Lost a lot of credibility with me.
I would hope it is just an unexpected glitch in the app update and not a deliberate attempt to force people to purchase new devices.
How could you trust a company again if it did that?
Looking forward to the 3.4 version being a fix for what up to now has been a fantastic product and has helped me lose weight and maintain a much fitter, healthier lifestyle. I'd be really disappointed if I had to go elsewhere as I don't want a smartwatch, just a tracker.
Best AnswerPeople HAVE been complaining by the dozens and have been blown off. My fitbit barely connects anymore.
Hundreds of people have reported the issue. Fitbit admits it's a known issue. It's easy to say "be patient and wait" but some of us rely on fitbit syncing to get discounts on our insurance premiums. Or some folks are doing stepbets or other challenges with money on the line. We need a reliable product, and a quick fix when something goes wrong.
