Hi, Android users! Thanks so much for your patience while our team continues to investigate.

If you continue to have difficulty syncing, please use an alternate device if available. I will provide any future updates here, so please stay tuned.

SO frustrating...Hopefully this issue gets corrected soon...Might as well have stuck with the Flex if that was the case that the extras (text/calls) didn't work...

This is what i did.

1. Go to settings go to security and turn on unknown source.

2. Uninstall fitbit.

3. Google fitbit 2.60 apk i got it from apkmirror. any apk from 2.55 to 2.63 will work and your fitbit will start syncing again

Download. Then go to download and install.

Then go to your widgets and move the fitbit widget back to main screen or wherever you had it. Hope this helps

last remember to turn off auto updates

Hi all!!! @BLACKFALLS Thank you...

After following your instructions my app finally show the notifications where it allowed me to enable...That's where I was able to enable my calls/texts/calendar...Then it went directly to my phone notifications and I turned on the fitbit notifications...

- Thanks for the suggestion. I did try all of this and 20 other
things...now I have just put the updates on manual and I installed version
2.55 of the fitbit app. Works perfectly and the app is basically te same
minus less teasers for their paying coaching sessions etc.

Fibbit really are getting their knickers in a twist.

Originally they were deleting solutions showing how to revert to previous versions of the app. Looks like the persistence of the good and helpful members of the community has overwhelmed them.

They are also not quoting the usual claptrap with such regularity. In fact they are getting very quiet indeed.

I'm in two minds as to whether this bodes well or ill.

Perhaps they have all run away. Because we sure as hell can't track them if they have.

Is this why my Android phone suddenly couldn't "find" my Fitbit one?

Would you believe I just got 2.55.1 from the playstore. And it did sync. .
Well sort of. It syncs steps but seems to believe I have always slept
exactly the same amount every day for as far back as I go. And my activity
level is also exactly the same every day. But I have high hopes for
continuing improvement. Of course I still believe in Santa and the Easter
Bunny. Do we will see.

Did you really mean 2.55.1 or is it 2.65.1?

I completely agree with @GAHHHH. This is a scandal. Give us an update on
how things are progressing now please. It is OK to say "We are working very
hard on this but have not been able to solve the problem yet. We predict
this to be done by date X". This at least shows that you guys care, in
contrast to your reaction now which clearly shows that you do not. This
silent treatment is very arrogant and frustrating behavior from your part.
