My fitbit app wouldn't work with my new Samsung Galaxy S7 (Marshmellow) due to syncing issues. I just reset my fitbit (plug it into laptop/wall charger and hold button on left side for approx 10seconds until fitbit symbol appears, then unplug it). App worked instantly! 🙂

Welcome to the Forums @JMor925. Our team still testing the compatibility of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. You can check our list of Compatible Devices to see which phones are compatible with Fitbit trackers. In the meantime, I recommend syncing your tracker with a computer or another compatible device.

I can use it on my 7, but dislike I have to have the location tracker on. On my 5 I used the bluetooth and preferred that way more than this way. Will that be changed in the future?

Great to see you here @samisue. Which phone are you using, a Samsung Galaxy 7? Galaxy 7 or S7 are not compatible devices, when a phone is not compatible you might experience inconveniences using it with your tracker. As mentioned before, you can sync your tracker with a computer or a Compatible Mobile Device.
Let me know if you have more questions. ![]()
My Fitbit Charge HR has been syncing perfectly with the app on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge until 1:36 a.m. EDT today. Has a recent change been made? I know you indicate that Fitbit trackers are not compatible with the S7, but I was not having a problem before.

Welcome to the Forums @BonnyC. That's right, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are not compatible phones yet. Some trackers could sync with the phones but at the moment of experience any inconvenience is normal, since these phones are not compatible we don't guarantee their functionality with the Fitbit trackers.

Hi Fitbit community!
I have used fitbit since 2014 on my HTC One M8, but now I got a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and now fitbit doesn't work on the new phone. It says "you are not currently paired to this device", how do I fix this problem?
Sincerely, Emil

Any news on when the S7 edge will be a compatible device? Very frustrating not to be able to use my fitbit.
Does anyone know if Fitbit is gonna be available for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge in the future? That "S Health" app that they have on, is so crappy!
