Text Msgs only show Sender's name (RESOLVED)

Fitbit Update: 9/12/19

Hey all!

We're still investigating and working on a fix for this text notification issue on Android. 

In addition to not receiving the correct text notification, we're now aware this is also affecting call notifications. Some of you may only see a previous caller's name and not the person actually calling you at the time you're receiving the notification. 

When we have more information for a fix, we'll announce it here in this thread. Please stay tuned for updates!

Fitbit Update: 7/30/19

Hi everyone.

We're aware of these issues with receiving only the sender's name from your text messages. This appears to have started with the Fitbit for Android app version 3.0. If you're experiencing this yourself with your Fitbit device, please know we're working on a fix. 

While our team investigates this further, we just ask for your patience. Once I have information for a fix, I'll make an announcement here on this thread.

Since the new Fitbit update I dont even get the name on mine

The names are finally back on mine...I've tried everything....I really miss
the text messaging as I do not always carry my phone on me....with that
feature I can read it and only go for my phone if necessary!

Now getting a notification that I have a text but says
View message
Which defeats the purpose if I can read it on my blaze

I now get view message that's it ! I have to go to phone to read which
completely defeats the purpose of fitbit message

I get "view message" when I have more than one unread message. Which is also useless.

Thanks you are a star just managed to delete the newest version and go back
to 2.9 and the texts are back I probably sounded a bit **ahem** about it but my
personal circumstances I need to see text without opening phone
My only question now is why didn't Fitbit simply tell me to revert back
??????

Reverted to version 2.9 via Google not play store
Deleted latest version 1st and replace with 2.9 avoid auto updates tho 👍👍

Me too! I have tried everything. Thought I was the only one 🙄 please hurry and fix it.

Confirmed, everything works again as expected with v2.95 of the app.

What is the status on this issue?  I am now getting incorrect names with texts and calls, and I am still not receiving messages.

Yes my notifications do the same thing, only the sender's name or number shows up, (twice), but no message.

I got onto the site but couldn't find the Fitbit 2.95 download  any advice please
