Text & call notifications not working with my Galaxy S7

Hello community. I'm brand new to the fitbit world. Just purchased the Alta HR last week. I see everywhere that my Alta will receive text/call notifications. I'v read tons of blogs and articles. I click the tiles on my fitbit dashboard and I'm supposed to see a notifications section. Nope! Not there. I have a Galaxy S7 and I've made sure all my notifications in my phn settings is turned on as well as my bluetooth. I must be missing something! Help

Thanx, Bopeep

Hello @Bopeep79, nice to have you here in the Fitbit Community and in our Fitbit Family! I was reading you are not able to received text / call notifications on your new Alta HR.

As a matter of review I would like to revisit the steps with you to enable this feature:

Open the Account Tab at the bottom of the screen and select the tracker's tile.

You will have access to your tracker settings. From here where it says "General" tap on the option of Notifications. Is possible it ask you permission to enable call notifications, just select the Fitbit app to proceed.

Once you have enable the Notifications you will have access to the settings to select the available apps to received calls or messages and calendars notifications on your tracker although the features will depend of the tracker you are using. Depending of the Android version you have it might be possible it is promt to allow the access from Fitbit.

Just remember that your tracker needs to communicate constantly with your mobile device by having the Bluetooth On all the time.

If you already did this to no avail, then I would like to recommned the following suggestions: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).

Hope this helps and let me know how it goes.
