The android app doesn't show steps count

I downloaded the android app and I wanted to steps but it only track the calories. I don't have a tracker device and currently use my phone to track my activities. Is there a way for me to change from calories burned to steps? Please help.

If you aren't using a tracker, how do you expect the app to get the data? Can your phone track steps?

The app will show the normal calories used when inactive and then add to that what the tracker provides per movement and heart rate detection. If you aren't using a tracker, then I don't see how your phone can provide the data for anything close to accurate calories burned.

I'm curious how the app works without a tracker.

With my Blaze tracker, the app shows both steps and calories, plus more stats. As a result I am wondering what the app is actually showing you.

If your phone doesn't detect steps, I suggest getting a tracker.

Mobile Track
