Hello everyone!

I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.

Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.

Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.

Happy stepping!

That photo with the cats is just too perfect.

I'm sorry, but I absolutely hate this redesign. Is there any way to go back to the way it was?

The scale of everything is too big and hard to see at a glance. I care more about zone minutes than steps, but can't seem to adjust priorities on my dashboard. And previously I could see all the weeks results in comparison to past weeks, but now I have to look at each week individually. It's much harder to track my progress.

I hate it so much this may make me go to a new health tracker. Please let me know how to get the old format back.

I've been looking at the Garmin's as well. I hate what Fitbit did to the app, it was the app functionality that made the watch worth it. With a unfunctional app now, might as well move on to a better watch

Adding my voice to chorus that new is horrible.  Map to track runs has disappeared, no way to track battery percentage, confusing layout.

Please give option to revert back to previous app

Previous years are there. Tap "Steps" → Tap "Year" Tap "Back arrow" on the left hand side, and you can scroll back to when you first started your Fitbit account, unless you ave chosen to delete some data from your account.

I hate it. I absolutely hate it. I’ve tried to engage with it, but you’ve guessed it, I still hate it, and every day it becomes even more of an annoyance to me (to the point where I’m now in full Karen mode and airing my grievances on a community forum). How on earth do I revert back to the older, user-friendly version??

Inspire 3 latest software update made some unpleasant changes. Appearance is less user friendly & the battery percentage is no longer showing on the app. Why take away something that was so useful? It seems the update was completely unnecessary

It's been a rough week for this Fitbit user,  the latest UI app upgrade has been nothing short of a disaster.  Everything that was once so readily available to read when I opened up my Fitbit App has now been changed to the point that I cannot find the information or I have to scroll way down to where I have to open into another "window" level, even then the data is difficult to ascertain or understand.  The sleep data is completely wrong, simple math like 3+5 hours of sleep can't be done.  Before the upgrade I had no need to customize anything.  Now, I not only have to customize my Fitbit but that customizing when done is not reliable at all!   I realize hating Google and the evil people behind this most incompetent decision to ruin everything about the Fitness app easy to use operating system is going to do me no good.  Instead embrace the new journey to new Fitness Tracker and wave goodbye to the evil scumbags at Google Fitbit!

The biggest reason I use Fitbit is the heart monitor and ECG graphs. Fitbit ECG App is "not compatible" with my device, I can't find the ECG graphs anymore. This update is a serious fail. I don't have any reason to be a premium member anymore.

Me and my wife are missing the number of days in a row that use to be there. I was over 200 days in a row making my steps and she was at almost a year. It is a shame if this is really gone and I may move to a different device as well

I don't like the way Fitbit is looking!! Why? My fitbit got unpaired!  Lost my account information!  I may be going to a different brand! Don't like what Fitbit has done with the way it looks now!   I got logged out of account. Not able to sync nor pair my watch!

It ask me to choose between GOOGLE and Fitbit!  Give me back the normal information that was better!  I don't like GOOGLE i.e Google pixel etc., Google nothing!!!!

Very well said, I am waiting until the end of the month before I convert to another platform, why would they do this kindergarten act of a app

I agree with all those who hate the new app. Bring back the old app! Why is 'Get Started' the first thing you see? I want to see my steps, heart rate and distance at the top. I used to be able to move things around so these were at the top. now I have to scroll to almost the bottom to see them. It would also be nice to see the charge level, but that's gone.

I've had a Fitbit for a long time, and didn't mind the app. this is horrible! Might be time to find something new and different.

I am wondering the same thing.  I like to see battery icon when I'm charging the watch.  Hopefully they will fix it.

So true, I have noticed that people with a “Ultramarathon Racer” title supports the update or try’s to talk like they are trying, in which they are not, bring back version 3 and call it version 4.2 and be done with all this mess, I am wasting more time on this than actually walking, but words need to be said

Sorry mate, this is what we got,

I am with you Craig, I am giving until the end of the month and I am gone

Never mind.

How do I view what calories I have left in the day?  I used to see this on the older app and it helped me plan the rest of the day.  I can't say I like seeing by weight in plain sight either.  I understand I can remove this item, but I just don't want to see the number blaring at me.

The new app is terrible. There are no positive aspects to the new design.  Whoever decided this was a good idea should be fired.

So very unhappy with this update I want the old app back and I'm told I can't.  I can no longer start an activity only LOG ONE that isn't right. I walk every day and used to start my activity and GPS would track it. That is no longer available.  Why not?

Google, come on! Can't see cumulative week totals, nor easily compare to prior weeks. Can't see remaining battery life. Can't customize order within sections on the Today screen. Who thought this was better than the old one?! Bring back the old version, it has so much more helpful info!
