Hello everyone!

I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.

Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.

Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.

Happy stepping!

Well said, I worked hard for my daily streaks

It's terrible, everyone hates it.  It turned my smart watch into a fancy pedometer.

I have been a loyal Fitbit user.  Today I bought a Garmin.  Very happy with their interface!  Will cancel my Fitbit premium at the end of the month.  Such a shame.  I give Fitbit a max of 3 years until it is no more.   I really tried, but it was like the developers were actively trying to push users away.

Thanks to bud lite, this company is following the same pass, You know there was another company that tried something different, and now that company lost over 30% of stocks in a year and still falling, if that beer company would of kept things rolling normal, that bud light beer would still me number one, now people choose to go elsewhere!!!! That is why I drink local craft beer now

The new app is awful.

It's missing so many features and functions the other one had.

Not too mention it's so buggy and barely even works half the time for me.

I'm buying a Garmin.

They are not listening, they either have ibots or people responding trying to downgrade their screw up, I have seen at least six different “users”, trying to explain good things about this toilet bowl app

Sorry for your loss, it hurts to loose a family member, I agree with you to finally make your goal/streak for the day

The new release looks like it was developed by someone unfamiliar with how the app is used.  It looks like some developed as an academic exercise, thinking that what was produced made sense.  Instead, existing users should have been consulted about features most desirable to the user community as a whole.

In that light, taking the battery meter/indicator off the main screen was a poor idea.  It is an extremely valuable tool when your fitbit device is charging.   It allows you to monitor the charging status via the app, as long as the device is within Bluetooth range, without constantly going to the device to check progress.  Removing the battery meter/indicator is a very irresponsible decision, and should be reviewed, and the meter/indicator restored.

Can't find it except on my Fitbit

Nothing like the last one. I don't like this at all. Can't move the tiles most interested in. Water intake is the very last tile. To me that should be first because I use it the most.

You can barely see any color. That's how bad it is.

Same here!  I don't like anything google is involved with.

Can we get the old one back?

Thank you @KOHM50 for sharing this information. Sadly, I think your conclusions are correct regarding motivation for unleashing this entirely unsatisfactory app update.. I have been a loyal Fitbit customer since the first Charge device, but stunts like this horrible new app and the phasing out of all Fitbit accounts requiring all Fitbit users to have a Google account by 2025 will force me to look elsewhere. It is a shame.

You are EXACTLY right 👍

👍 YES!!!

With google involved we have very little chance.

Yes! I believe they are losing many customers. I know I'm buying something not connected to google.

It was a gift. I didn't like the first one. But I hate apple products as well. I'm waiting for the new phone I saw being designed a few months ago. Nothing to do with google or apple 😉

Pray you don’t get the new update version !!!

This latest version for the Fitbit sense is garbage!  How does on revert and not allow such future idiotic 'upgrades'. The programmers should all be fired for this disappointing crap!!!

You are paranoid if you think that I work for Fitbit. I've been retired for 37 years.
