Hello everyone!
I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.
Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.
Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.
Happy stepping!
Thanks. I'll more your feedback to somewhere where it will get more appropriate attention.
Best AnswerThe new layout is terrible. It is too spread out. all the Icons are gigantic. the colors are all muted so I can't find what I'm looking for quickly. There is too much on the screen because everything is huge and spread out. I hate it I hate it I hate it. The only thing that keeps me with Fitbit as my fitness tracker is the app and it makes me sad and irritated now. After six years I may be switching to another brand.

How do I roll back to previous update? Since the recent update my versa 3 no longer syncs properly with app and I'm losing data, which is infuriating. My Fitbit is no longer fit for purpose. I'm very disappointed.
Moderator Edit: Clarified subject
I'd love to know how how to fix this issue also. My fitbit is now basically a watch.
Same here. Displaying incorrect data. In one section shows two different distances achieved for the day. Totally unreliable
Best AnswerHi, I am disappointed in battery life being unviewable. But have a larger issue.
Zone minutes are not being calculated correctly. I have multiple exercises where incorrect minutes are displaying. I've gotten 17 zone minutes despite only spending 3 mins in an active zone, and have not received double zone minutes during vigorous exercise.
Wish there was more testing. Design is good, functionality is iffy.
@fastdragon yeah I noticed Zone minutes were way off compared to in the past also. I walk 3-5 miles in my neighborhood up and down 25+ floors equivalent and now get zero zone minutes when I used to get a lot of minutes.
@AlySlaughter Moderate = Fatburn - Vigourous = Cardio - Peak = Peak
Ever since the new app has rolled out, whenever I log food, it is recorded on the next day, not the current day. Is there a way to fix this? I couldn't find one. Steps and energy are recorded on the current day. This throws everything off.
Given the reaction here on the forums it is pretty apparent Fitbit is not concerned with customer experience. Seeing that this is my current experience with Fitbit, when the topic came up today at our open enrollment Wellness Benefit Zoom meeting at my employer - and we have around 3000 employees - I shared that given the recent revamp of the app, the lack of customer service, and the complete disregard of user feedback - to the point of deleting forum comments - as well as my own personal experience, I would strongly encourage employees look at other options than Fitbit for their activity tracker needs.
Actions have consequences and that recorded webinar on our employee benefit site can't be deleted.
Please keep us updated on this. I, for one, am very curious if there is any response from FitBit...
