Well now as of today, I didn’t try the past couples of days, but I can’t get back to the message group, Fitbit says they are going to roll out, the new redesigned App., butt really it is not that hard, bring back the original with a different twist, I think Fitbit just talking crap about bring back the “streak” count, that is one or two buttons to press, keep boring background, just bring back the streak

--------------------------

Totally agree, they say they are going to fix it for 3 weeks or so, I have been suspended for 2 weeks, but they posted it in minutes last screenshot I took was 19709 minutes on the ban, now I am back and posting on X with a goo turn out.  I really hope Fitbit stays true their word soon !

Moderator edit: updated post.

You obviously work for Fitbit, bring back the old design, especially with STREAK count

Did you notice it is harder to get to a total group chat, when I try, it brings up only one reply,, I totally agree with you though

All I want is the app that was advertised when I purchased my Fitbit, and that was part of my decision making process, to be easily available without needing to block auto-updates. If you want to make a new one available for those who want it that's fine but don't force the carp on everyone else.

Totally agree with you. I have noticed this poor design on other web sites I use that used to apply color to help you visualize quickly. I just do not understand this giant step backwards. I get constant emails about google nest and other products. I just laugh. After seeing how they hosed up a good product by Fitbit, it is doubtful that I will ever buy any google products.

I’m never buying another Fitbit due to the Google App. Every single day, something isn’t working on it!

I tried to change the hours for Active Hours. It won’t allow me to set 9-5. Once set, it reverts to 2AM to 6 AM. I tried signing out, deleting and reinstalling the App. No difference.

How about just change to the old version. You guys really don't get it. The unhappy customer list is growing. This "update" is like 5 steps back. Horrible and not useful at all

Hi, @Freespirit-j! This sounds like it may be an issue created with daylight savings time. I would be patient for a few days, these things usually sort themselves fairly quickly.

I do not like the new update. I find it to be colorless and boring. In addition, it is not automatically recognizing my activity. I have had to enter my exercise and walking on my own. That's not how this is supposed to work. Very disappointed.

Did they do another update in the last few days for the watch because all of a sudden my watch is super slow and not working properly and the interface looks diffrent. I swear I am going to switch if they do not fix this. The website uodate was bad enough now my watch is screwed.

@Syrinity  - They have updated the Fitbit Android App overnight last night (11/6-7/23) as I have just noticed an automatic update that happened at around 2 AM EST. I have a Fitbit Sense 2 on a Samsung S23 Ultra phone - the current version is now 4.03. The aesthetics and features missing on the app were not updated.  My guess is this was mostly cleanup of poorly written code or bugs found and fixed.  It did show an update to something on the Premium app but I do not have Premium to determine what was done.  Hope that helps.

Absolute trash. Revert please.😪

I believe the information about sleep patterns has been changed back to the
colors and layout that was there before the horrendous update.

I think you are right.  Also the problem where food is recorded on the wrong day has been fixed.  I wonder if Google rewrote over the Fitbit code in order to 'upgrade' the system and now has to figure out how to put the features back?

I've just got v4.03 and there's nothing obviously new or fixed. The heart rate graph still starts on the wrong day. Oh well, over the next few hours I'll find out just how good or bad this version really is.

Best Answer
Yes no noticeable improvement
- still has errors like comparing calories to KJ for daily %
- still no battery % indicator on the home page
- max speed for bike rides still gone. I know it wasn't perfect, but it
added to the fun of the device
