I currently have a FitBit Versa, and received a flex 2 for the holidays to use during workouts. When I go to setup the new device, it only lets me replace the Versa. Not add a second device (flex 2).
Seems this is functionality that feel off in a recent update?
Is there a way around it? Or have to wait until it's fixed?

Hi, @NPrih! I think this is a recently added glitch. The only thing that might work is adding the Flex 2 in first and then adding the Versa back in. I think the issue might be with the newer "smartwatches." With them, there are limitations on what you can have on the app.

I have a Versa and my job gave me a Charge 3. I am unable to add the Charge 3 without switching out the Versa. I tried adding the Charge 3 first and then the Versa, but is still replaced the other. Help!

@OneLove73the Versa and Charge 3 should not be able to be on an account at the same time. This is intentional with Versa, Ionic, Charge 3, and Versa Lite. The only workaround that I know of is to find an old Android version that still lets you add them both.

I have purchased two Inspire Hr for my children. The iOS app will not let me add the second. How do I set them up?

The only workaround is to set up a new account. I don't want 2 accounts. If I add a second account, Fitbit wants a different email account. I prefer to not provide another email account. One would think that Fitbit wouldn't want people to have multiple accounts either. We need a solution. I use my older devices when doing yard work, swimming, or going to the hot tub or sauna. I would prefer that all of my steps for the day total together. This is frustrating.

Agree, not being able to add a second device is frustrating. Come on Fitbit, there are many of us who need flexibility to use a charge 3 for work & Versa 2 for personal use. Please work on a fix!

It only works with older devices. It will not work with a Charge 3 and a VERSA Lite. 😞
I think it would be great if I could remove my Versa Lite, add my Charge 3 to the account and NOT lose my steps taken that week with the other device. That doesn't work either. I prefer my Charge 3 for swimming. I like the VERSA lite for every day wear.
This needs to be fixed.

I was going to purchase a versa lite for the same reason but since the APP will not allow for both a charge 3 and a versa lite there is no reason to purchase any other fitbit.

Seems like a very poor marketing and sales position by the fitbit developers

Just bought a Versa 2 for a nicer at-work device.
It used to work.. why would they take AWAY functionality??
I feel ripped off.

Most definitely would not have purchased the verse to 3 if I realized I couldn't add it to my account. I too, use different devices for different purposes. Google should support the fact that we want to purchase more than one device and let us do what we want with them. If I can't find a way to add this versus replace, it will be returned and I'll be seeking option by another company. This really ticks me off.

Bought new versa 4 for my wife as her versa 2 heart monitor stopped working, she wanted to use the versa 2 in her pendant case for work as she is a nurse. But app wouldn't Let her add the versa 4 as extra just replace, we even tried adding back the versa 2 afterwards and it wanted to replace the versa 4.
This is shocking ,the app needs a big update to fix this.
