Since update my fitbit won't sync to my galaxy a40. Been in touch with Fitbit, got various things to try still not working. Eventually got told my phone wasn't supported, however it was before update. Anyone else got the same issue?

Hello @CW19, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and troubleshooting your device prior to posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
Keep in mind that the Samsung Galaxy A40 is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience connection difficulties with it.
@LostEchoes Thanks for the helpful information that was shared in your post.
I'll be around, let me know if you have any additional questions.

I am extremely upset about the samsung a40 not being compatible with the fitbit charge 2. My husband bought me the watch last Christmas and it is now useless and only fit for the bin. Why can't the tech guys make the samsung a40 compatible?
