Versa 2 notifications not working with Huawei phone

Please help. 

I have purchased a Versa 2 yesterday and today the notifications (messages, emails etc..) are no longer working on my phone (Huawei). 

Syncing is set for all day.

Notifications do work for about 5 minutes if I restart my phone. After, I am getting the following message:

"notifications service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker".

@Liloub80 Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

 

Let me help you with your Versa not getting notifications. Lets try refreshing the link between your phone and your Versa by doing the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
