I have tried everything to enable the quick replies.  I receive my message but it still just gives me the option to clear and that's it.

Hi @Shaz.B good to see you have joined the Fitbit Community! I saw you are not seeing the option of quick replies.

The best option here, is to re-enable your notifications from scratch:

  1. Unpair your tracker from your mobile device. You can unpair your tracker in your mobile device's Bluetooth settings. If you are unsure how to verify or change settings for your mobile device, refer to instructions provided by your device manufacturer. For most Android mobile devices, tap Settings > Bluetooth, find your tracker in the list of paired devices, and then tap Forget or Forget Device to unpair your tracker.
  2. Reboot your mobile device.
  3. In the Fitbit app, tap Allow notifications access and allow access to the Fitbit Notification Service, and then turn on call, text, or calendar notifications along with the app notifications.

For more details on the functionality of quick replies, please refer to this post.

See you around and hope this helps.

The problem is I dont get the Reply option when I receive the notification on my Versa.  The only thing I get is Clear.

Yes that's what I get. I did once get the smilley emoji and like option.
That has now gone and I just get the clear option.

Had the same issue. I read on another thread if you are using the text plus app you need to open text plus and tell it to use quick replies in settings somewhere.

For me, I finally found the solution yesterday.  I was using the fit notifications app with an older fitbit tgen by default with my new versa.  A few weeks back something changed.  I would only get open or dismiss as  my choice.  Removed fit notifications from my phone.  I went into the fitbit notifications checked messages and WhatsApp. .... and guess what... WORKING AGAIN

i think the issue has become some of those 3rd party apps

Mine was like that too but I figured it out! Make sure you get a Fitbit notification. Then, go to notifications and go to the app notifications setting (where you can get notifications from different apps). Allow Fitbit notifications and BOOM it works! At least, that’s what I did.
