I can't get my messages on my new ionic. Worked for awhile but then just stopped. I can't receive my phone calls either. That worked for awhile too but now it doesn't?

Hi there @PPeterson7, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I would recommend to review if your app is updated to the latest version and your phone is listed as compatible.
For more details visit the following link: https://www.fitbit.com/devices and for more information about the new version of the Fitbit app go to the following post: Android app version 2.66 is now available - 2/5.
If the issue continues try the recommended steps from this post: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).
See you later and keep me updated if the issue persists.

Hi Roberto
I have a Huawei Mate 10 Pro in the UK running android 8 and the most uputo date version of the fitbit app, 2.66
Notifications work for a hours and then stop
When I check the app it tells me to turn on notifications again
I do that and restart my blaze and notifications start working again
Any ideas how to fix this?

Perhaps the issue of notifications stopping to work after a while is associated with a rather aggressive power saving feature of Huawei phones. I have a Huawei P9 and had serious trouble with my Pebble until I figured out how to prevent the phone from being too aggressive about saving battery life.
I went to Settings | Apps and then pressed the "Settings" cog at the bottom. I then selected "Special access" (under "Advanced") and after that "Ignore optimisations". After finally selecting "All apps" (touch "Allowed") I could then locate the "Pebble" app and "allow" it to persist even when the phone wants to shut as many apps down in order to save battery.
