For anyone still experiencing login issues, this has now been resolved in the app version 2.53. Please update your Fitbit app to the latest version!

Thanks for the update. I did get an update on my phone this a.m but it did not help with this issue. Sure hope this can be fixed. I've never had any issues with my Fitbit.

I just had my daughter try logging into hers on my G5 & she was able to log in. However, I am still unable to login unless on the computer or tablet. It's been a week now. Thanks for keeping us updated on the fix.

I can log into husbands Fitbit from my app, but not my account. Seems to be MY email address that it doesn't like all of a sudden. I can only log ito my account on a PC.(PIA)
Called Sprint to make sure all was okay. She ran some diagnostics. All is good on their end.
Has Fitbit possibly 'Blocked' me?
Uninstalled, cleared cache.....
I have a 2 reference numbers with Fitbit now. Have sent several screen shots. All we get is '24 more hours' or 'we'll call you' or 'they'll send you an email.'
Day 4.......nothing yet.

I have tried all of the suggestions. Wi-Fi reset, uninstall app, reset password, set automatic time, etc. Still no result. Very frustrating since i have the new Alta HR but cant track on my phone. Fitbit please address this issue!!

I have been experiencing similar problem as everyone else. I have not been able to sync with my Android phone sine 6:53 pm on June 27th.
I have tried signing in on my computer but it still has not synced. This has been very frustrating. I look forward to hearing about anything that will help with this issue. Thanks

I was able solve this issue for now, I went to a site called uptodown and downloaded fitbit version 2.45 (an old version) and was able to sync, I wanted to add my steps to my work week hustle competitions I'm in.

Hello, I didn't wear my fitbit for a couple of days. Came home fully charged it. Cannot get it to sinc now. Says the last sinc was June 24 when I try and sinc "processes" then "times out" after a while. I did try deleting the old appl and reloading but still doesn't work, turned off & on the phone etc

I know, right?? It let me use a different email so I just opened a new account. Of course this solution did not transfer my data from 2016 to now. Talked with Customer Service today. All they could tell me "the engineers are working on it", really??? Asked them when it is back up, could I combine my two accounts so I didn't lose my old data?? In this age of advanced technology, seems this is not possible. Hard to believe. I may not have my old data under my old email, but at least I can track my steps, get texts and calls, etc., on my phone under the new account. I tried all the other solutions out there, but nothing else worked.

can the surge and flex be synced by making a direct usb connection to a computer?
I have not been able to sync either device for days despite restarts to phones/fitbits and computers.
I see some suggestions are to delete everything and set them up as new devices, but I would like to keep the information that has not synced.

I was doing some troubleshooting and found something that I figured I would try since nothing else was working.
The instructions said to turn off my fitbit by connecting the charger to the outlet/charging device and then connect the fitbit. Hold the button on the side for 10-12 seconds and then release and then disconnect fitbit from charger. The fitbit logo with the version should come up. Once I did this I checked my phone and it finally synced. I hope this helps someone else. Good luck!

That didn't work for me. Boo! I've gone back and forth with support a few times. Still getting the same error message for my app. I'm to the point of starting another account. Sucks since I've used my FB for a few years now.
