Hi! the XB3 is a comcast gateway. You need to make a few changes to you network setting in the model for the Aria 1 scale. Th Aria 2 scale does not have this issue.
All comcast routers use the standard protocol fo network connectivity. 802.11ac. ( This is the latest and most secure protocol for wifi communication.
I believe the Aria scale supports only an out dated but still secure network protocol... I think it's 802.11 a, b, g, or n. I forget whcih one it is. but you need to get into your router's configuration setting by typing '10.0.0.1' into your browser address bar when connected to the router. you will be promted for a username and password, and as long as it was never set, the username is 'admin' and the password is 'password' . From there you need to find where you can change the protocol setting from 802.11ac to also used 802.11b ... or 802.11n I think. I had to do this myself a while back, but memory is fading on the exact protocol it work on. I ended up getting and Aria 2 scale and gave the Aria to my sister.

I have struggled with this for weeks when I changed my router. There is a tiny hole near the battery compartment on the back of the aria. It is a reset button. Worked first time.

@GuernseySue It's great to see you here. I'm sorry about the difficulties you've experienced with your Aria scale.
Since you mentioned that you've changed your router, please let me know what is the make and model of your new router. Also, please let me know if you are getting any error message during the setup process.
As a side note, we don't recommend pressing the hole that is on the back of the scale since pressing it often, might get the scale damaged.
See you later!

It is sad that people are so frustrated by the problems with their scale that they are using the hole at the back of the scale even though the company doesn't recommend it. Even sadder that it worked for someone and so I tried it out of desperation and of course no luck for me!

Hi! the XB3 is a comcast gateway. You need to make a few changes to you network setting in the model for the Aria 1 scale. Th Aria 2 scale does not have this issue.
This is what I was told I have back in a thread from January..
In February we got the scale to connect -- this worked for two days.
I have the XB3 comcast gateway router
I was directed on what changes to make in February -
I made the changes and the scale worked for 2 days.
Now it will not connect again.

Our team is aware of this and expect to have a solution soon. They're actively looking into this and once a solution is available, we'll make sure to post it in the Community.
Your feedback and patience is greatly appreciated.

So I've tried the option of setting up 802.11b however my router does not allow to the option to switch to 802.11b only 802.11n or 802.11 g/n.
Is there anything else I can do or is my scale rendered obsolete?

@Dominich77 Welcome aboard to our Fitbit forums! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria is not connecting to your WiFi either. Please contact your Internet service and see if they can switch the protocol to 802.11b or mixed mode (b.g,n).
In the meantime, please let me know what is them make and model of your router.
Looking forward to your response!

Perhaps you could share what they said to change so the rest of us don't have to wait months.
Thanks.
I am having the same issue. Cannot connect. I use Frontier (Verizon) modem and the Linksys MX10 Wifi 6 mesh system. I have a mesh unit about 15 feet from the scale's location. I got it to connect once. I have tried, and retried, and manually entered and retried. It continues to look for the wifi, and when I try to reconnect it doesn't see the network. The Linksys is backwards compatible. Even though it means weight loss, I am tired of giving my blood, sweat, and tears over this thing.
