@Jadson It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria scale is not connecting to your network. Please let me know the following details: have you made changes to your network (router, router settings or WiFi password)? Is your Aria scale displaying any error message? What is the make and model of your router?
In the meantime, when the "Setup Active" message appears, press firmly the two lower squares of the Aria scale and see if the display changes and proceed with the setup process.
Looking forward to your response!

Hello,
I would like to report that Aria has returned to work, but I have carried out a different procedure. The Aria has worked for the last years with the same Wi-Fi network and has not been modified. However, today I changed the network name and password and miraculously it worked.
Best regards,
Jadson

Follow up to my post in Feb of 2018
@DrJ86 wrote:I called FitBit and they sent me an email with instructions on what to ask my internet provider. Here's the email:
We're sorry to hear that you're still experiencing trouble with your scale. We appreciate your efforts to troubleshoot.
The error you are encountering indicates that the scale has been unable to communicate with your router. The most common reason for this is the router's configuration.
Please contact your Internet Service Provider and ask them to active or confirm that your router allows the following settings:
- WEP / WPA / WPA2 personal security.
- Automatic (DHCP) IP setup (static IP configuration are not supported).
- Router needs to be 802.11b ONLY and its 2.4 GHz frequency.
- Your SSID and password should only contain alphanumeric characters (e.g. A-Z, 0-9
After you've made this change, do the following steps before attempting setup again:
-Reset your router (power it off and then back on)
-Clear Cookies, Cache, and History on your phone or PC (This is really important)
-Keep the scale within 10 feet of your main router.
-Keep the Automatic (DHCP) IP setup. Static IP configuration is not supported.
Please let us know if you still need assistance setting up your Aria.
SO, I followed all of those steps and IT WORKED! In a nutshell, the Aria communicates via 2.4 ghz and my ISP was operating at 5.0 only. There is a "mixed mode" (which the 802.11b is...I guess!) so you can still operate at 5.0 (better speed) with other devices BUT, again, the Aria seems to need the 2.4... hope this is helpful!!
: It's now been almost a year and the scale have synched flawlessly ever since
