Set up brand new Fitbit Aria 2

Purchased at same time as watch. Set up watch. Set up scales. Connected to internet no problems. Stepped on the scales which showed flashing feet and the Error 1. Tried a few times and got the same message.  App shows no weight recorded.  Isn’t there somewhere I can look that will tell me what error 1 is PLEASE?

You remained on the scale for too long after completing a weigh-in.

Step off your scale after completing a weigh-in or when the scale shows the footprint icon moving backward, indicating it's time to step off the scale. If your scale continues to show this error when you weigh yourself, even after stepping off at the appropriate time, contact Customer Support.
