Wife not receiving an invite email to join

Purchased the Aria Air a few days ago.  I was able to add it to my account with no problem but when I attempted to add my wife the invitation is never sent. On the Android Fitbit App I go into Aria Air listed and than under the general tab I go into scale user where it lists my name. I than click on the + sign on the lower right portion of the screen to add a member.  Under Fitbit Friends my wife is listed and than I click on the icon on the right portion of the screen and at the very bottom  of the screen I get an notice that "Sent invitation to Sandra D" but the email never arrives.  Now at that email address she gets her weekly stats so I know it's got the correct email address.  I've also tried using the "email add" portion by typing in her email but she never gets it.  Probably tried this over 25 times with same results.  Tried doing it on a desktop computer at the web and on the desktop app but when I click on the Aria Air nothing happens.  Any ideal?  I'm about ready to send it back to Amazon.

Have you checked the Spam folder?

Yes, not in there.  She receives her weekly status reports from Fitbit but not the invitation.

Has she checked her Fitbit app (I assume she has it downloaded) to see if it shows up there?

Now it doesn't show up on the Fitbit App on her phone.  Attempted to register her with just her phone like I did when I first got the scale with my App but it says that it is registered to another user (me) and that she should ask me to invite her.  Immediately I turned my phone back on and attempted to invite her but she never receives the email.  As I stated before it is not in her Spam Folder nor is there any indication of me sending it except for the message I get that says Sent Invitation to Sandra.

Have you tried using a computer to send the invite?

Done it from both my phone and my desktop computer.  She never gets the invitation but she still gets all her weekly reports and advertisements.
