I don't know if the settings on our device are considered private or if Fitbit can use the data to monitor the effectiveness of the device. Is there a way to do a poll or something on this board?
I need to recharge every 2.5 days but do not think I use enough features to drain the watch that fast.
I have no alarms or reminders, I don't use notifications or music, and bluetooth and 'all-day sync' is turned off. Quick view and heart rate are on (set to auto) and brightness is set to normal.
It would be good to compare a broad base of users what features they have on or off and their battery life. I have seen a number of posts where the battery seems to drain faster than advertised. Not sure if this is a regional thing, batches of batteries not quite to spec or just plain bad luck.

Thanks for the information @Globule and @Driver8666 I am glad to hear to hear that your Blaze is working properly. @Globule At this point, I recommend getting in touch directly with our support team since they have the proper tools to see the time that your battery is lasting. For a faster response you can contact them via phone or chat.
Let me know the outcome.

@Globule My battery will last about 5 days before needing a charge. I have quick view on, messages from several apps on and brightness to normal as well. I don't do many GPS connected activities, so that does not come into play. I don't use all day sync either.

It's great to see you around @Globule and @Kmransom123 thanks for stopping by. I would like to know if you keep having problems with your Blaze's battery life? If you do, I recommend checking this post where you will be able to find some instructions to fix this issue.
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

Thanks for the reply Alejandra.
I had checked a number of posts to see if there was a fix and I have already ensured I have no alarms, all-day syncing is off etc.
The only things I have turned on are :
HR (set to auto)
Brightness (set to normal)
Quickview (set to on)
I don't think the battery should be draining so fast just using these features.
I am going to do a some tests to see if a few resets will make a difference, then try turning off the quickview feature 😞
If I get it resolved, I'll post what I did here.

Well, I'm charging it again. 44.5 hours and i'm on my last red bar.
I'm going to turn everything off to see how long the charge holds - no HR, no quickview but will keep the brightness at normal. Lets see how long this sucker actually lasts. It will take about 2 hours from now to fully charge, so that's my reference point. After that I will try turning on one part (that I use) at a time.

5-6 days with mine, but as soon as I get the low battery notification pushed to my phone and email, it goes in the charger. Once, I forgot to put it in, slept, synced and it was still low. I gave it a 10 minute charge to get me through my shift, then put it in the charger once I got home (that's hooked into the Xbox One) and played Prominence Poker. By the time I was done (and up about 4,500 chips), all charged. Takes about 90 minutes.
I fully charge it. This time however I forgot to do it. My Blaze still works fine. I sync twice a day. once just before the end of my shift, and another while I'm in the shower.

Oh, I forgot this:
Notifications are all off
Heart Rate Monitor is set to Auto, those lights will put a hole through paper.
Automatic brightness.
I can get the advertised 5 days off the battery, sometimes 6. But I've already requested that they put a percentage indiactor similar to our phones in the next update. They can fit this on the Today screen.

Now that I would like to see, a video of the Heart rate lights burning a hole in paper.

Thanks for the feedback.
48 hours later and I am at 1 red bar again.
Everything was off - no music, notifications, alarms, HR, quickview, bluetooth, all day sync was off and I even turned off the transparent live tile. No idea what that last one is, but it's off.
I'll contact support and see what they say. Hope they don't want to monitor my Blaze via bluetooth syncing - my phone is so old its not got the right kind of bluetooth.
Thanks for looking in and i'll post what happens next.

And another update. (Yup, 1 red bar again)
I received an email from support asking me to:
fully charge the Blaze
sync every 2/3 hours
do not charge during this time (although the only way I can sync is via the charger)
let them know when the battery is dead.
Will do that now and hopefully be able to get this resolved.
(Ever had that syncing feeling...)

I received my replacement today and just set it up.
(Huge box for such a small thing.)
It took about 5 tries to get it to track, but at least I knew what to do this time around. Going to get it fully charged and see how long it lasts. I'll put the quickview back on and hopefully do a final update in around 5 days.
After I started the testing, on my second sync I checked my emails and already had a response. In 2.5 hours I had used 15% of the battery, so they wanted to check it was still under warranty etc. I sent a scan of the receipt (it was a present but my brother had left the receipt in the bag) and my details. A few days later and i'm ready to go again.

If it ever does, I'll record it for you. All I know is that they are like laser lights.
If you think that's big, the box when I got the Mellon Collie and the Infinte Sadness remaster (box set) from Amazon was twice the size of the box set itself, although I never did the Decoupage thing.

No the HR leds are not like lazer lights, or your arm would have nice holes in them. People take the lazer from a cd drive and use it in an xy cutter.

So the new Blaze went from fully charged to totally run down in just over 3 days.
Still not got any of the extras running.
I'll monitor it for a few weeks, but not sure if this unit has the same fault as the last. I got that to about 74 hours twice - letting it completely run out overnight. I'll let it run down to a single bar before recharging and continue to note the duration.
Fingers crossed.

Well, I kept monitoring the duration I could get and it seems to be between 110 & 135 hours. So 4.5 - 5.5 days on a single charge.
I'm going to post a few feature suggestions, but it looks like i'm all set now.
Thanks to all who looked in and posted.
