Black Blaze screen

My Blaze screen went black yesterday. I tried to charge it but then the green lights went off too. It is still syncing to my phone but will not come on even if I try holding down the left and bottom right buttons for 10 seconds to restart. Help!

Hi there @Ket1. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with the display on  your Blaze not responding 😕 Thanks a lot for trying to restart your tracker.

Since this has not worked, I was able to get in touch with the Support Team and found that there's already a case filed, so I'd say, keep an eye on your inbox for a followup on this problem and hopefully, we'll have you back on track soon! 🙂

My screen went black today as well. Was searching fitbit.comhelp and then saw the same problem here. What do I do. I'm counting on this device , for I had a double bipass and need a wearable heart rate monitor

Hi there @Chrystoff. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're also having problems with the display on your Blaze not working as it should 😕

Have you tried by any chance to restart your tracker? If not, you can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot and this will hopefully bring it back on.

Also, when was the last time that your tracker was able to sync? If the display is not working can you tell if it's syncing or it is not syncing at all?

Let me know how the restart goes! 🙂

I'm having the same problem as i posted in another topic. I tried the reset after i charged it all night and I still have nothing. What can I do now?

I tried the restart option (holding down the left button and bottom right together for 10 seconds) with no luck. Finally after 14 hours and a large number of restart attempts the screen came back on. I charged it and it is now working fine.

For some strange reason, it was working this morning like Elves came in & fixed it. The only explanation I thought of is that somehow FITBIT reset my device somehow. weird. it was totally giving me no response at all.

Hi there @Halcyonwaters13. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your Blaze not turning on 😕

What happens when you put your tracker to charge? Are you able to see anything on the display or it won't show anything at all? Have you tried by any chance to restart it? If not, you can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

If that doesn't work, let me know and we'll see what other options are available for getting you back on track!

@FerdinandFitbit. Can you please help me? I’m having the same problem, and tried everything that was mention but no luck. I don’t have a Twitter account (not going to sign up). How can I reach support? Thanks!

Hi I tried the reset several times then left to charge. Eventually, overnight, it seemed to come back to life on it's own. Sorry couldn't be more helpful.

Unpaired the blaze from my phone and it came back to life. It’s on the charger, I’ll let you know what happens when I try to re-sync with my phone. ??????

Thanks everyone. So this is what I tried doing:

1. Gave it a full charge overnight

2. Manual shutdown on the fitbit for a day

3. Turned it back on

My Fitbit has not died on me for over 14 hours so far (and over 20k steps). I’ll keep it on and see how long the battery lasts.

I’ve had my blaze for exactly two years now, so I hope it’ll work. Wish me luck!
