Blaze WhatsApp Notifications

What bothers me the moste about the Fitbit Blaze are the missing Notifications for WhatsApp, it is the most common used messenger App available and its messages are not shown on the Blaze.
That makes me truly reconsider this purchase.
Is there any sign of adding such a fuction to the Blaze in near future?

Hi,

I have the exact same settings as you have per the screenshot.

Getting the notification for the call is not a problem, but there is no notification for the whatsapp message. recommend a solution?

TIA

Hi,

I checked the blaze and phone settings and software updates of both devices several times but it didn't help so I removed the blaze from the Fitbit app(Dashboard ->"Remove this blaze") and joined again. That solved my problem with Whatsapp notifications.

Hello I am the new kid on the block so I have a list of apps on the app. So how does it work? It is supposed to let you know your notifications like a text or Facebook? I had used the app but not much response from it?

May I ask what phone are you using? On the app it has a menu in viewing what phones are comparable.

I use whatsapp and have its notifications come up on my Blaze no problem.

In the notifications bit where it says text notifications, when you click that you get a list of different messenger apps to choose from. (at least this is how it is on android, not sure about iOS)

I use the same as @MarkD78 but I use iPhone. When I select Blaze in the Fitbit app, then Notifications, it lists the default iOS ones (Calls, Text, Calendar) and then shows App Notifications where I can turn on/off notifications from all apps that give notifications on the phone. WhatsApp appears in the list for me and I have it turned on. Incoming messages pop up and display on my Blaze perfectly (but limited number of characters).

Same here but with iPhone 7. No issues at all.

That is a good report; perhaps you can share how you did it so the one who having the problem could benefit. Cannot remember if he mentioned what phone he was using.

Use to use Whatsup before I got the Blaze but on the list of apps Facebook is on the list. I do not know which IPhone you used or how many of the apps you used. How does that affect your battery on the watch? Does it last for 4-5 days as advertised? I used the SE phone. The app of notification for Fitbit what does that do?
