Blaze back button not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi guys, this is my second blaze. I am a big fan of fitbit and have been using it for quite some time now. BUT there have been some software issues in every model i use. My first blaze had a software issue where in the device wasnt counting floors. The customer support was very helpful and replaced my device. The second blaze was working fine till a few days but now the back button has stopped working. I tried going through the alteady mentioned articles but none helped. If any more suggestions to get this button to work will be very helpful. I will contact the customer support today via phone.

Welcome back @cochrasc and thanks for the feedback provided. I would like to know if you received any offer from our support team? If you haven't do this, I recommend taking a look at our warranty policy.

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy

I appreciate the follow-up, but the offer that they gave was the same as when I called in:  buy a new one at a discount.  I don't feel I should have to buy a new one due to a software defect, warranty or no warranty.  To be clear, I don't really want or need a new device.  I want the one that I have to work correctly.  Not a single support person has even suggested that they will tell the devs about the issue that many are having, and that is discouraging.  I will continue using my device in its semi-broken state until it either gets fixed or I get tired enough of dealing with it to buy a new one.  However, after this experience with customer service, I will never buy another fitbit.

They should be able to offer you a tech support . Are you able to send it in and they check it out or take it into a computer specialist and have them look at it

After one month of struggling, I could achieve that yesterday. Cleaning the cradle and the back side of watch worked. Cleaned the back with toothpick around the hole and inside the four holes. Now, how do, we protect the rear side holes from getting covered with sweat. Is there a way to prevent the sweat blocking the charging holes

Hey there, same my end. I too got the signature have a discount to buy a new one in the next 30 days or so. And you know what, Fitbit are absolutely technically right. After all out of warranty means out of warranty...but....it just makes their service and product quality inferior to others.

FITBIT - Do the right thing and replace your poorly built Fitbit Blaze!! The internet is full of these complaints and you replace the ones “in warranty that were lucky enough to fail in the first 12 months”. Not exactly the mark of quality products or service now is it?  POOR POOR POOR!
