I wouldn’t get you hopes up on help. Your options at best are get a replacement or buy one at a discount.

The discount is from the full price not the sale price. It would have been a more compelling option from the sale price but that ship has sailed.

I do not suggest a replacement unless you have enough time left in your warranty to go through this process again because if you go over by one day forget it even if you have a documented history of issues.

Its up to you if you want to reward the company with more money for these problems again in another version of the product.

I definitely wouldn’t buy another Fitbit it’s not just the blaze but others in the Fitbit range have a good read online mate

a lot of users are saying sabotage

these devices are made to last the life of the warranty like I’ve said loads of times on here it’s not a faulty battery but a software issue

ive actually changed the battery on my blaze because it was only lasting 2 hours so purchased a new battery soldered the new battery in

and would you believe it lasted 2 hours

can you still purchase the blaze in the states

They did just have a software update recently, wonder if they are messing with old devices to rid them out???

Amazon and eBay. I don't know if they are still sold in any retail stores. I would imagine that discontinued products would not be on store shelves.

There you go mate that says it all I’ve already said to Fitbit it’s a software problem but why would they bother even looking in to it ( because a lot of users will think fair play to Fitbit 25% off another device that’s why Fitbit are a multi million pound company all they are doing is ripping off loyal customers why do they only offer 1 year warranty in the states yet offer a 2 year warranty in the uk I’ve just got myself a brand new blaze and Fitbit have had my old 1 back

not something I would normally do but like I say you can still buy the blaze in the uk and with a no quibble 30 day money back guarantee so just say if I purchased a new blaze then found it wasn’t holding its charge like my old 1 I could take it back to the store where I just purchased it and they would give me my money back and send the faulty item back to Fitbit

if you know what I mean (not something I would normally do but Fitbit seem quite happy ripping off there loyal customers

so have a bit of your own medicine)

Planned obsolescence is easy to identify, but hard to prove.  I hope they didn't hit a kill switch. That would be so cold. It would put other units into question. Hmm.🤔 If one is into buying the latest greatest, they won't be as affected. I don't know too many people who can front that kind of cash yearly.  I upgraded mine, let's see how it stands the test of time.

Like I said you can still buy the blaze in the uk with a 2 year warranty I seem to think it’s like a charge cycle say you’ve charged your device say 200 times for example then anything after that is when they are designed to slowly start to go down hill

I had the same issue with printers

they would let’s say let you print 1000 pages for example then all of a sudden you would get a warning saying parts in the printer have come to the end of their

life and need replacing so I found a free programme online where you reset the printers page count then start all over again without changing the so called faulty parts and did that numerous times just goes to show how large companies think it’s ok to rip customers off

I think I did hear from them, but it was to say I didn't post things correctly so I guess it was taken down, Not sure what it meant.
I just know that I cannot afford to buy another one when this on goes. I go back to a basic watch.

Perhaps 2 days it took about 6 emails answering many questions and sending copy of purchase receipt, then they accepted the battery was faulty plus the face became hard to read, they accepted the Blaze was faulty and sent a replacement.

Just a update I ran a battery test for Fitbit and they emailed me and confirmed that my battery is bad and their solution was to email me a coupon to buy a new product. No help whatsoever will no longer be a Fitbit user.

If you are not past your warranty period of one year, tell them to replace their defective device, or give you at least 50% discount on the Versa. They are trying to get people off of the out of production or discontinued Blaze. It's not your fault if they are still being sold as good and brand new. Newer software updates will start rendering these obsolete. It's apparent if you look at the amount of posts titles related to the battery not staying charged. There are no oops, and errors, The Blaze is being extinguished. At some point, none of them will work. At least it can buy you some time. The biggest problem seems to be that people are or were buying discontinued devices unknowingly.

Unfortunately I’m past my yr warranty I was just hoping that them seeing the battery took a dump on me they might help a customer out and offer me more than a coupon but as I found out they don’t put “us” first. Good luck to others

Thank you for the update. Once this goes, I will not pay for a high price article again, especially in technology. It changes to quickly and a person could turn poor just trying to keep up. I survived in the past without one of these and I will do so again. Sort of like going back to the natural way of life.
