Hi everybody! I don't usually uses blaze while I work. I put it on the table. After about four hours, the blaze turned to 60% batteries from 100%. Any power-down mode can I use in the blaze?

On the flip side to the battery replacement. People went through that painstaking battery replacement but the same thing is happening. Personally, I think these issues were pushed in the last update.

I bought a charge off of ebay for $10 just until I get my new Kors V3.

I am disgusted with them. Spend all that money on a premium product and get a device that is not fit for purpose after a short time

I have actually posted my complaint about Fitbit on the pissed consumer website and they wanted to interview me life, but I thought that would maybe not be such a good idea.

I am so upset with Fitbit for cheating so many people and I continuously still get adverts from them trying to sell me the same old rubbish.

I bought an old charge on ebay for $10 until I save up for the Samsung gear watch I want. And the only reason that I went with another fitbit is simply because I am doing a study and they require a tracker.

Hi Ferdinand FitBit:

My Blaze's battery has NEVER lasted over 48 hrs without having to be charged! I remember going up to the Forum/Community after I got it and this appeared to be the norm. Are you saying that I've had a defective Blaze since I got it??? I really would like Fitbit to replace it then. Now the battery is draining in under 24 hours. Ugh! Please help!

Best Answer

it does not matter what we think. It only matters what Fitbit corporate think!

They are the ones that can replace it or ignore a request for a replacement.  They are also the ones who tell the site  moderators to  quash any posts that give the product or company a black eye

Return it NOW! It never gets any better and FitBit won't take ownership the longer you have it.

Yes I feel bad about this. I guess I'm not the only ones having this problem. I should have researched this watch before I purchased it. Lesson learned!

My blaze was purchased in January and I’ve only really started to use it myself approximately 2 weeks ago. The last day or so, it won’t hold a charge. Can anyone help? This is the second Fitbit product to break or malfunction on me (my charge hr broke away from the band and was irreparable). These are not cheap!

my family and i have had similar problems with Fitbit products.   You may find that they will replace it under warranty.  YOur replacement will likely do the same thing.

Fitbit's are basically throw away products.

Good luck

5 of my 6 fitbits (one of the zips never stopped working) have "died" in time and i've replaced them with the latest upgrade. Probably this is Fitbit's secret plan...  (I'm being factitious but not really.) In the beginnig (Zips and Ones) Fitbit did replace the defective trackers without any arguments. Acceptable since it seemed to be the electronics of the trackers. But for the past 3 years, they refused to acknowledge when their trackers are defective because of their hardware.

But now I know that Garmins and Apple watches are solid replacements. That is where my money will go from now on. You lose, Fitbit!!

Yep! Lesson learned, just the hard way though, lol. My granddaughter had bought me the cheapest one for Christmas ( will be 2 years ago this Christmas) I loved it. But the band broke and I couldn't find a band for it. So thought I would go with one that does all these cool things. But I guess that is if you only want to use it one day then charge again. NOT! OH WELL.

Hi guys, as suggested in this thread previously, if the instructions in this post didn't work, feel free to contact our support team and check our warranty policy, if you received a discount and want to use it, in this page you will be able to compare all Fitbit units, maybe there is one that meet your needs.

Catch you later! Man Happy

Hello
Within a period of 20 months two of my Fitbit’s died. The first one was
replaced for me because it was less than a year after purchase. The
replaced one also died. This time it is out of the range of warranty
because it is counted for me from the time of purchase of the first one.
The only thing I get at this time is 25% discounts to buy a new Fitbit.
I don’t trust this product anymore because I don’t have a good experience
with them.

I just can't even with you any more. We have ALL contacted support. We ALL know about the bunk warranty policy. But what you nor "support" can tell us is why all of our blazes suddenly bricked all around the same time.

Are you not reading posts? We have all contacted "Support". We have all done the instructions in this post that basically turns our Fitbit into a glorified watch. We all know the warranty policy.

What we don't know.....why all of our blazes bricked around the same time conveniently outside of the warranty window. People are now reporting that they have replaced the battery themselves but then the same issues arise. Why in GODS name would we buy a new Fitbit??!?!?!?!? Personally I am going to go with a Garmin or with another tracker or smart watch because I SURE am not giving Fitbit any more of my money. Fitbit wants to advertise on Facebook ok but I am going to comment all over that post about the issues with Blaze and I will continue to comment in these forum posts until Fitbit gives us answers.

My Blaze battery has lasted 2 years and 3 months.  I talked with a battery shop near me that also has a battery replacement service.  They have ordered a battery for me and said both the replacement and the battery would cost under $35 USD.  I am excited because I do love my blaze.  I will update once the replacement is complete.

Why would I want to buy another to not last the pace???? Mine stopped working correctly before the warranty but I checked the forums and saw that Fitbit said they were aware there was a problem and were investigating. I wrongly trusted fitbit to put this right so disnt contact them until a few weeks after my warranty expired.  How wrong was I to believe that Fitbit would rectify the situation ! Makes my blood boil

I understand fitbit want to keep making money but with the battery problems we should be able to service the watch for a battery replacement not throw the old out and by new.

Can you send me a link to get a battery replacement for the Blaze.  When the product was new I was quite impressed and purchase different straps and surrounds, now the model is discontinued will the straps fit any other model and has battery life improved, and what is the guaranty for the battery  ?

Are any fitbit models have battery replacement ?
