I bought a Garmin instead.  I'm done with Fitbit.

Best of luck with it. They are supposed to be good pieces of equipment.

This is a common issue with the Fitbit product line. Out of warranty they won’t do much for you. Personally I went elsewhere just wasn’t going to waste anymore time of money on them. Best of luck

I'm willing to keep changing the battery in my blaze; it's not that expensive or difficult. But I'll not be buying anything else from fitbit, due specifically to their (lack of) upright response to the blaze's problems.

I know you have been with them a long time. Some of us are more patient than others. I hope that it all works out for you. Good luck!

Where is all day sync in account settings???? I CANNOT find it on my phone app OR computer. I distinctly remember seeing this pop up in the last week and saying yes to it. Now my battery is dying after 2 hours from a full charge. I am so fed up with this device (charge 3- never liked it as much as my 2) and the Fitbit App that usually takes multiple times to sync in the morning anyway- why I switched to all-day. Now it doesn't show me any options on my dashboard to turn off all-day sync!!

I would call them and ask what’s going on. They have had battery issues with a number of different products. I no longer use mine I went to a competitive product a while ago. Sorry can’t help. Good luck!

I’m with you... I’m going with another brand. My budget won’t allow a $150-200 splurge every year and a half.

Most people can’t. This is taking planned obsolescence to far! These aren’t inexpensive items. I purchased a fruit watch. I had the phone so it was an easy transition. I have a 3 and I liked it so much I got rid of my wife’s Versa and got her the 5. I didn’t use the sleep thing so I didn’t mind losing it. I wanted it for the workouts, etc. It has a lot of features that I like. It has to be charged for an hour every 1-2 days, but people I know who have them say they don’t have any problems several years later. If you have the phone the 3 is only about $50 more. Good luck

Hopefully you'll have better luck. It's sad they didn't stand behind their
product.

I've changed the battery on mine, but most ppl won't solder or find someone who does. But I'm also looking at the gar min vivo active 4. Apparently it'll take a bazillion apps, a few of which suit my needs nicely.

Best Answer
You are correct most people wouldn’t bother trying to solder the battery. I only looked at the Gamin before I made the move. Didn’t know anyone who had one. So I went with one I could talk to people about. Best of luck with it if you make the change.

Once you have one you, get a better idea as to what features are important to you and what is more like window dressing. When I switched to another brand, I lost some features which I don’t miss at all. I did pick up more features that were important to me as well as hopefully better reliability and durability. Thus far I am very pleased with the change I made.

If the battery was working fine and then suddenly won't hold a charge, forget all the options, turning off won't affect the longevity of the battery charge. I had the problem, they sent me a new, Fitbit to me, probably refurbished, 3 months later, battery lasts about 3 hours if lucky with all options off. This was my 2nd Fitbit and my last, still under warranty, but I haven't been able to get they to them. They have lost my business, too expensive for such a piece of crap.

It doesn't help when your idiot CEO posts a letter supporting Black Lives Matter. They are a Marxist organization, supporting black lives...sure, BLM...no. if Fitbit supports them, I won't support you.

Amen to that. I did the same thing, 1st one lasted about 14 months. Bought the Blaze lasted about the same. Purchased a #3 fruit watch because I had the phone and I spoke with others. One friend had the #1 and had it for over 3 years
Without any issues. Price for my 3 was a few dollars more than I paid for the Blaze. So far I am very pleased. Good luck!
