Hi everybody! I don't usually uses blaze while I work. I put it on the table. After about four hours, the blaze turned to 60% batteries from 100%. Any power-down mode can I use in the blaze?

I had this same thing happen to mine. However, after a couple of days it started to drain quickly again (1-1.5days). Not quite as fast as before but definitely not like it was a month or so ago when it would last 4+days.

Tried everything and still the same. Battery only lasts 4 hours. Reading forums lots of users have same issue after last update. So frustrating. Can this be rectified.?

Draining battery after update, lasts only 4 hours, frustrating, lots of others with same issue. Puts me off buying another Fitbit, this is my second in 3 year. Surely they should last longer especially the price you have to pay . Fuming.

So, I fully charged my fitbit Sunday night, into Monday morning... by monday Night, it was dead. (Said it was fully charged. So I charged it again.. Fully, verified it was fully charged, and wore it, and it's almost dead. It lasted almost 2 days this time.. but seems to die after that. For the price I paid for it, it's definitely not worth lasting barely 2 years. Very disappointed. Looks like everyone else is having similar issues...

I am having the same issue and took all the steps you mentioned. I think engineering wise the Blaze battery lasts 4-5 days for almost 2 years , then it hits a wall, and turning off a lot of the extra features/notifications is a good idea, but it really "is" kind of "Apollo 13'ing" it. I do say from an engineering perspective it definitely WILL extend life of the battery, and the suggestion of charging more often also makes sense. (Like an older car that uses oil) So all in all I think this is the best engineering advice to make the existing blaze last as long as possible. The key for marketing however is we current Blaze owners are not apt to jump on $199 for the next model yet, so we will soldier on with this advice, and it is good advice. Note to Marketing - Do a one time $50 off the Versa for Blaze owners that have battery issues. I think everyone would jump on it.

hi all, I figured I ought to update and give a little credit where it was due. I used the Fitbit interactive online chat, long story short they looked at the logs, agreed I had a fault and have sent out a new watch. I guess mine was still within warranty.
I would recommend the online chat as you tend to get answers there and then...good luck to all.

Same Issues. My fitbit blaze went from a 4 day charge to a 4 hour charge literally overnight.
I have had it 18 months and its now useless! Fitbit should make customers aware its a throw away item and the battery cannot be replaced.
They offered me 25% of a new one. for what??? so i can toss it in a barrel after the 1 year warranty runs out.
Its crazy that you cannot replace the battery or send the tracker in to be serviced if it fails.
No commitment to your customers after the sale Fitbit? Buyer Beware.

I had a more paranoid thought when my Blaze battery life suddenly improved after weeks of being on the blink. Maybe Fitbit had learned a lesson from Apple and 'knobbled' it with a software update that adversely affected its performance meaning I'd feel compelled to go out and spend another $350 on a new one. Well, that ain't gonna happen. For a start, I'd never get the spend passed the wife!!!!! Anyhow, like I said, I'm probably just being paranoid. We can all trust the manufacturers of consumer electronic products not to behave in such a manner, right?

My Blaze is 26 months old and the battery is no good any more. Loved using the watch but if this is the life span I will be looking elsewhere fro a replacement.
I spoke to support and they were useless, they basically told me 'hard luck' and 'would I like to buy a new one?' I live in a house with 4 other Fitbit users (Whom i recommended fitbits to) and having seen how I have been treated they have all said they wont be replacing theirs via Fitbit either.
Fitbit if you are at all interested you have just lost 5 loyal customers!

Same exact issue with my Blaze. 25 months old and was working fine up until about a month ago where one of the updates caused my battery from lasting 3-4 days to less than 3 hours. Worked with support and instead of actively troubleshooting the issue (which was obviously due to a firmware update) they tried to convince me to buy a new one. I've recommended multiple family and friends as well and will be taking my business elsewhere moving forward.
