What is the latest on battery charging? No longer holds a charge even for 24 hours. Used to hold for 4-5 days. What can be done? So upset. I love my Blaze & spent $300.00 for it & don’t want to have to purchase another one. This was after a Flex which had the battery unit fall out of the bracelet. Money down the drain. Please fix this. Seems to have been after last update!

I am having the same problem. I have done ALL of the suggestions. I have contacted customer support twice with no luck. It was fine one day and the next day it won’t hold a charge more than 4 hours. I am not happy.

I've had my Blaze for less than 2 years. I charged it last afternoon and now the battery is almost half gone. Yes, half empty. It still charges in the specified time but just doesn't last as long as it did (usually 5 days at least). It's such a disappointment. This thing is like having a 2nd wife right here on my wrist. Only difference is I spend more time with this one. And just like cacanen, I don't want to have to go out and buy another one. Seems like such a waste. I was told that I should have gone for a different product but I don't want to have to roll that way.
What can I do ??

I had some battery troubles a while ago but now it's fine again. I think it was just confused.
Try the following, maybe it helps:
- Charge the Blaze until it says it's full, but don't take it out yet - leave it in the charger for another 2-3 hours. It may think it's full when it actually isn't. Don't leave it overnight though, just a few hours.
- Now take it out and just use it until it shuts off on its own. Ignore any low battery warnings - wait until it's dead. Mine complained about being empty for days before it finally went dark.
This fixed my battery troubles. Getting 5 days again with quick view and everything enabled, and up to 7 days if I don't use it much. I guess it just needed to be recalibrated.

My blaze just started doing the same thing this week. So annoying not having my fitbit. What has the company said is the reason for the batteries dying?

I think something funny might be going on. It seems there are a lot a people who are suddenly having battery problems with their Blaze.... right round the same time Fitbit is struggling and Ionic sales have been doing subpar. My device is about the same as many other people 1.5 years (just out of warranty) and battery went from lasting 5 days strong to 12 hours. I contacted customer support who, over two days, did various resets and tests. They then confirmed the obvious, that the battery was having an issue. For the price, the device should last longer than 1.5 years. After voicing concerns, they offered an insignificant discount to upgrade to a new device, purchased through them. Hmm... another $300 for a new device that will last and 2 years ...maybe. I have been a loyal Fitbit customer for many years and I had been eying the Ionic as an eventual replacement for the Blaze down the line, however there are many other quality products on the market. Might be time to try a Garmin.

Thanks for the steps provided @PantherCam, I am glad to hear that your tracker's battery is lasting more time now.
@MakPort welcome to the Community and thanks for sharing your experience. Keep in mind that you can use that discount to purchase any other Fitbit device (except the Ionic). You can take a look at this page, where you can compare all of our trackers, maybe there's one that you might like.
@mollysmom2 thanks for the update, it's weird to hear that support hasn't offered you a solution. Haven't they do it yet?
Keep me posted.

I did call support. They offered me 25% a new fitbit. I was not pleased or impressed. Still trying to decide if a new fitbit as I do miss my fitbit friends or an apple watch.
