I have an LG G6 and Fitbit Blaze. It takes forever to sync and no notifications like text or call. Is the G6 not supported?

Not yet. I am looking at the same phone but holding off for other reasons. I'm sure it will make the list eventually.

Welcome to the Forums @bdh24 and @SunsetRunner thanks for stopping by.
As our friend mentioned, LG G6 is not compatible but you can always try to follow the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? post. I don't guarantee it will work 100%, also you can keep an eye on our list of compatible mobile devices for any update.
See you around.

When are new phones added to the compatible list? I have the new LG G6. I get text notifications and calls are delayed but still come in. Biggest, issue is I can't do anything with music.

A warm welcome to the Community @Jburns and @Twinsdaddy08.
Our team is hard working in testing the compatibility of several phones and might take a time to make them 100% compatible, your patience will be much appreciated and as mentioned you can keep an eye on our list of compatible mobile devices for any update.
You can always try to follow the instructions provided in this post for the music and for the notifications follow the steps provided by our friend @MarreFitbit in the My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app) post.
Catch you later.

Just to add to the comments. I am now using the LG G6 with the Blaze and it works fine. I get occasional problems when trying to manually sync, but I got that before with my Nexus 5. I can't comment on the music controls though as I do not use that. Also, my Blaze was already set up on my account and I transferred all the apps and backup from my old phone. I did not set up the Blaze with the phone.

I had to uninstall Fitbit from my LG G6 because after app. 3 weeks I get all notifications on phone (I'm not talking about notifications on Blaze from phone) delayed 12+ hours. And it's really caused by Fitbit app and connection with Blaze. After uninstall and restart it's all right. Please fix it ASAP!

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

Hi Alejandra,
thanks for reply. I read linked post but it's not my issue. My Blaze is receiving notifications and I can control music through MY Blaze. My problem is, that Fitbit app itself is blocking all notifications on the phone, that's the first issue. Second is, that I can see on the lock screen (Always-on screen) that my LG G6 is connected to the Blaze network, which is non sense.
So again, Fitbit app in bluetooth connection with my Blaze on LG G6 is blocking all phone notifications (Viber, FB Messenger, Facebook, Hangout msg, text messages and all other apps). PROBLEM IS NOT RECEIVING NOTIFICATIONS TO THE BLAZE FROM LG G6

I am having the same issue. I just got the LG G6 and the app was transported over from my old phone. The app works fine and is able to sync with my Fitbit Blaze bit I was having trouble with other apps getting hung up or delayed notifications on the phone as a result of having the Fitbit app installed on the G6 as referenced above. Please advise when this will be addtessed.

Well, may be I have a solution. I just tried it and it works! I installed again Fitbit app on my G6. It connected automatically to my Blaze (no pairing in BT phone settings). Then I just tried uncheck Stay connected setting. It's app. two hours and all notifications are going to the phone and even to Blaze. In purpose I did not activate Music control, because it should be also source of that issue. I will let you know if something will go wrong over time.
So now is for me working everything except Music control. Which is for me important but better than nothing.

Thanks for the information @Petnek and @Jbd11 great to welcome you.
I am glad to hear that your tracker is now working, I appreciate the tips provided. Keep in mind that in order to successfully connect your tracker with your phone, it needs to be a compatible mobile device and LG G6 is not compatible, but you can always tried the instructions provided in my previous post and in this other.
See you around.

Well, it worked only for few days . Now I'm getting 15 minutes delay in notifications. It's really weird, because it seems like that delay is prolonging over time. Second day it was app. 5 minutes. So still, problem is here. Please test the Blaze with LG G6 for longer period of time, I mean at least 1 months of daily using...
I'm thinking about buying new Fitbit Ionic like fix for that issue, but how I can be sure that even Ionic will be not doing that? In my country, I can return product within 14 days after purchase but what if this will appear after 3 weeks like with Blaze 😞

I just bought the blaze. And its not supported with my android .When will the LG G6 be supportes if ever? If it won't give me notifications then its a waste of money.

Might depend on,which text app youre using. I use Message+ also ypu can go into the notifications tab in the settings of your fitbit and select which apps will go to your fitbit. Another issue I've found is if the fitbit app has had a recent big update I have to restart,my phone and then it will start getting everything again.
