Blaze text message notifications are inconsistent

While I like my Blaze, its notifications feature is a little inconsistent when handling text messages from my paired Android phone. Sometimes the Blaze displays the sender and text message, while other times it displays only the name of the sender. And when displaying only the sender's name, tapping on that does not expand it to displaying the entire message.

@AndrewFitbit thanks for your reply, it was quite helpful. I checked Fitbit Supported Devices for my mobile device (Samsung Galaxy S7)... it is not listed. Perhaps my phone is still too new to be fully supported. Thanks again.

I have a Galaxy S7.  My notifications are inconsistent.  Sometimes I get them fine - name and message, other times I dont get them at all, and now I am getting 3,4,sometimes 5 of the same texts. Always at least 2 identical texts show up my blaze.I was getting so many duplicates one day my battery completely drained in less than 4 hours.
